"A newer place on Anna Maria Island that opened a short time ago. Stylish and more upmarket than most places on the island which is refreshing if your looking to get dressed up a bit more. Decor is modern with velvet seating, black,gold, blues and wooden color scheme, a large bar with seating, an outside area that's great for Sunday brunch. Menus is pretty good with lots to choose from, we had their Oysters last night which were great, the Crab Cakes also very good, the Truffle Fries which in my opinion are the best thing on the menu just fantastic. We had their Watermelon and Tuna Salad my husband loved it and then a selection of steaks which all looked excellent even though I didn't try them personally. The only thing which wasn't good was the lobster, it was over cooked. Definitely a place to add to your vacation list if your visiting the island."

"Ate here twice, once on the normal menu, and once for the prix fixe NYE menu. Everything was fantastic. Great cocktails, solid seafood, creamy lobster bisque with large chunks of lobster. The fillet with foie gras was divine. But the real star of the show is the poutine. Salt uses crab and béarnaise rather than cheese curds and gravy, and it’s SO GOOD. My new favorite restaurant on the island. Photos from the NYE menu."

"Pretty phenomenal experience. Decor is trendy and very pleasing to the eye. More of an intimate dining experience in a smaller joint. Everything was coordinated extremely well from menu's, decor, bar etc. menu selection itself was small but had most everything you'd expect for a higher end dining experience. Every item we ordered was very near to flawlessly executed. Filet, C.O.D., fish tacos, clam chowder, crab cakes all prepared well, presented well w excellent flavor profiles. Over an excellent dining experience. Even the chairs we sat it were beyond cool."

"We wish we could give 10 stars!!! This restaurant is AMAZING!! Atmosphere, service, food quality, DRINKS!!! Our waitress Karen was very pleasant and attentive. One of the owners, Steve, visited our table a few times. He even suggested an unbelievable after-dinner drink that was soooooo good! Highly recommend Salt Bar and Table."
