"**Honest Review READ** Just moved to the local area and wanted to get some wings. The aesthetics of Whiskey Wings is great. However, I wasn’t impressed with the wings, up-charges, and not being able to split sauces with one order. I ordered all drums and was up- charged $4. That was never disclosed to me. Sauces were mediocre at best; basic Buffalo and Sweet Asian. When I inquired about the different sauces on the menu, the bartender seemed oblivious to what they’d recommend. I was disappointed I couldn’t get half of my order in one sauce and the other half in a different sauce. I was forced to order two separate orders. Breaded wings were left in the fryer a little too long. There were customer that sat on the bar patio side that blew their cigarette smoke into the restaurant. For me, it’s not appealing to eat my dinner and smell smoke. There are better places to go to with better quality food and no hidden up-charges. There’s nothing that sets this place apart from the other. I’d avoid it."

"The best thing I can say is that Vito, the manager, is the best ever! He is so personable, greets and thanks every customer. Also add to that Kaitlyn, Val, DAVID, and April, who always know what I want and are ALWAYS on point! !!! I love them so much and they are the only reason I keep coming and send all of my clients. Additionally, the boom boom shrimp is far better than the Bonefish version fyi!! This is a local “cheers” version hangout"

"New menu items are a hit! Lots of specials offered every day. Love the remodel…so much better than when it was mugs and jugs. The real reason my friends and I keep going back is definitely the staff. Shout outs for Kendall, Alysia, Kaitlyn, David and April. All the staff is friendly, fun and personable. As a former restaurant owner I can honestly say you won’t be disappointed."

"We have found our new place!!! After several (I waited to make sure it wasn’t a one-off) fantastic experiences at Whiskey Wings in Largo; yes, this particular location, I had to write and share my experiences! This place is truly a gem!! If you are a sports enthusiast, foodie, or love live music, they have it all! From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by the big-screen TVs that provided a front-row seat to all the games. I asked Vito, who I found out was the manager, if he would put on a specific out-of-state college game (Go Clemson), and he was more than happy to oblige; unfortunately, not every sports bar in the area will, we know this from experience. The menu offers a diverse selection, and everything I have tried has been excellent. This night we ordered the fish tacos, and they were delicious!!! The table next to us had nachos, and I don’t think I have ever seen a plate of nachos that large & full of toppings. They offer drink specials, a full bar, and plenty of choices of beer on tap. As if that weren't enough, during my visits, they have had a band starting at 8:00. I don’t know if this is every night, but it is a full band playing various dance music. It’s been a different band each time. The restaurant is relatively large, and the band is inside in the back on a stage with an area to dance. There is plenty of indoor table seating, bar area seating, and outdoor seating. I have never had to wait at a table, service, or food. One of the things that truly set this place apart was the exceptional service. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our waitress during this last visit was Val, and she was so patient while we asked so many questions about the menu and beer selection. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable and memorable. Whiskey Wings Largo restaurant is our #1 go-to now. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great restaurant with fantastic food, entertainment, and exceptional service. It's a winning combination that guarantees an excellent time for everyone who visits."
