Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

"Upon arrival, I was told there would be a 15 to 20 minute wait, which I had no problem with. 12 minutes later, I was escorted to my table, only to see that there were five other booths around mine that were completely empty, why I had to wait, I have no idea. furthermore when I left, all the tables that were empty around me when I arrived, were still empty, as well as some other tables in a surrounding area, and much to my surprise when I arrived at the lobby to exit, there was at least 30 people waiting for tables, why? Onto the food. The salad which I couldn’t wait to enjoy was a disappointment. It was a huge portion, but it was actually wet, not too much dressing, just wet, even adding lot and lots of parm didn’t help. The breadsticks were pretty good, but not as good as I remembered, could have used butter. So much for all u can eat, I did not re-order either, and left a lot over. Now the Tour of Italy does not at all live up to the hype, and certainly looks nothing like the picture on the menu. The chicken parmesan was actually pretty good, I’d recommend that as a stand-alone meal. The fettuccine Alfredo was nothing more than a mound of noodles with a ladle of overly creamy sauce dumped over it, it looked very unappealing until u started to mix it around, and even then was one big mound of slop. The lasagna was just fair, I left over half of it, I tasted more ricotta than anything else, there shouldn’t even be ricotta is actual lasagna. It was 10 years since my last visit, and it will be 10 more before I go back, if at all. I guess it caters to a specific crowd, but it’s not for me, I get better pasta at a shopping mall food court. That being said, the staff was very nice and the service was quick."

"Visited to celebrate my daughters 11th birthday. We were seated promptly, even though it was a busy Sunday evening on a holiday weekend. Special shout out for our server Brittany, what elevated our experience to another level were her kindness and attentiveness to our table, especially to our birthday girl. Our appetizers, Salad, drinks, and entrees were delicious and brought out on time. Will definitely visit again and request Brittany as our server. She goes above and beyond and is the definition of excellence in customer service."

"It's been 6 years since we visited Olive Garden in Lake Buena Vista and after 6 years my family and I were served by Mike who absurdly tried to charge us an extra fee for an order that we have been accustomed to ordering for 6 years at this same address, which is nearby. from our house. We ordered spaghetti with Alfredo sauce and fried shrimp. He other foods for children. It happened that Mr Mike who served my family said that he would have to charge us for the shrimp as an appetizer, even though the menu has this deadline. I canceled my order and only the kids ate it. I do not recommend this restaurant."

"Having passed this particular branch of Olive Garden pretty much every day during our holiday, we decided to save it for our last night as a treat, and talk about saving the best ‘til last! We were seated immediately and greeted to a very warm welcome by Lexi, our lovely server for the evening. From the moment we sat, we were made to feel so welcome. I opted for the soup and breadsticks as a starter and my girlfriend the salad bowl. Having heard good things about the breadsticks, they were every bit as good as I’d been told, however the soup and salad were equally as exceptional. For mains, I sampled the ‘Tour of Italy’, as I couldn’t make up my mind, whilst my girlfriend went for the cheese stuffed ravioli. Again, both courses were absolutely delicious and very little got left behind. Of the restaurants we visited during our stay in Orlando, this was one of the most memorable for good reason and I would definitely both recommend and visit again!"

"What to say about Olive Garden Italian Restaurant on Palm Parkway? I have been pleasantly surprised during the times I visited this store. The ambiance is cozy, the music isn't too loud, the wait was very short or none at all, even though the restaurant looked packed. This time around, our server Abdel was the best we have had at an Olive Garden, so thank you, because I had given up on going back to any Olive Garden after a few unpleasant interactions. This time, and for the first time, we ordered the Unlimited Soup, Salad and Breadsticks, and WOW, I am so glad that those flavors still remain consistent, as they are three dishes this restaurant is known for. I highly recommend it, at least, this location."
