Outback Steakhouse

"Bravo! We are long time Outback customers. Although we hadn't visited this store in over a year, we sensed a big change to this store when we walked in the door & found out about the new proprietor (+ new management). This store was very clean, and had a hard working staff (Linda was an excellent server). Within 30 seconds of Linda taking our drink order, the drinks & bread arrived! Portion sizes of the sides were larger than this store gave out with past proprietor. Food was served hot -- so it was brought to the table shortly after being "plated". Staff seemed happy & walked with a sense of purpose (too many restaurants in The Villages employ slow staff). Various managers were visible at the "front of house" supporting their staff. We were thrilled with our dining experience!"

"The Outback is one of my favorite places. It was my first time at this one. The receptionist was polite. Server was polite. The shrimp appetizer was on the non cooked side. Mushy. My steak was average, a little dry. Good flavor. The house salads and house mac and cheese were very good. My wife gave me a taste of the Bloomin Chicken. It was very good. The floor did not appear to have been swept in some time. I found that rather odd for a nice establishment. From the time we got there, until we left, numerous employees walked over the debris, and not one swept it up. It wasn't that busy either. Summery, My food was average, and the atmosphere was ok. If I'm going to spend over 70.00 for a late lunch, I would expect the establishment to be clean. I noted my floor observation to our server when we left."

"Our server Kristiana was so helpful and kind but most importantly, she was always checking on us to see if we needed anything. Super service and super food. I didn't take many pictures I totally got involved with my delicious prime rib."
