"The version of a “Tampa Cuban” is not. They do not have deviled crabs anymore and the stuffed potatoes are a little bigger than a golf ball, store bought and cold inside when served. The pork in the Cuban was old and dry. The Cuban bread was good and pressed perfectly. *Update- Within an hour of eating, my future ex-husband (lol) and I both had upset stomachs and 8 hours later, still not feeling right."
"I went to Havana Dreamers after a Facebook page I follow recommended their Cuban sandwich. The name caught my attention. A cute little café in Trinity, only 10 minutes from home. They have a Tampa Cuban or Miami Cuban sandwich. I went with Miami as the Tampa adds salami, and while I'm sure it's delicious, it just isn't what I wanted. The sandwich was loaded with slow roasted pork seasoned to perfection! My only complaint is that they either forgot to add pickles or there weren't enough on there. I honestly didn't taste any pickle. However, the sandwich was DELICIOUS without pickles. I also ordered a cafe con leche, because how dare I go to a Cuban Cafe and not order a cafesito?! Google reviews has Havana Dreamers Cafe rated at 4.6. I would have to say this is a very accurate score. Had I had pickles, I might have given 4.8"
