"A great school. Honestly a superior eudcation. TCA focuses on classical education: traditional education at its finest. Classic literature, languages (Latin from Kindergarten! plus Spanish) music, art, phonograms instead of site words, etc. Generally the work load and curriciulum lends itself to stronger students... it can get intense. My daughter came from the REACH gifted program at Ashton Elementary and found that amount of memorization and level of difficulty of the books that they read at TCA were more challenging than REACH"

"Our children have attended school at The Classical Academy of Sarasota for the past 3 years. Our sons are now entering 3rd and 1st grade. We are continually impressed with not only the content of the curriculum, but also with the consistency with which it is taught from year to year. The classroom sizes are kept small which accommodates teachers to focus on the student as an individual. This was evident to us when our eldest son was in first grade. They quickly recognized that his math abilities were beyond first grade level and took the initiative to move him up to second grade math within the first few weeks of the school year. The focus at TCA is to encourage students to do everything with excellence. We believe the school exemplified that standard by becoming fully accredited this year, an impressive accomplishment for a school which is still in its infancy. Most importantly, we see proof of this standard of excellence in our children’s penmanship, amazing knowledge of history, math, science, literature, grammar, geography, art, and music. Another aspect is that our boys love going to school here. TCA has fostered a love of learning in them that we had never expected to see...all the more reason for our overwhelming pride in this amazing school. The founders of the school, Josh and Harmony Longnecker, are extremely passionate about classical education, and it is clearly evident in their everyday interactions with the students and parents.
