"i go to this school and the people who say this school is bad well you're bad for being rude . you might say you're helping the parents telling them don't let your child go to this school . my name is Janessa Pineda and i am in fifth grade . And last week i was only there one full day and on thursday we had a test , guess what i got a 100 % . the teachers help me learn and they don't give up on me . I LOVE THIS SCHOOL "

"This is one of the worst schools I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I'm going to be brutally honest here because the world deserves to know the truth. It's great if you're of Hispanic or Latino heritage but beware, most of the staff are racist toward white people and those of other races as well. They know the kids are getting bullied and do nothing about it. They know the kids are struggling and do nothing about it, even though they insist the parents should, they just blame them for everything that goes wrong, without taking any of the blame themselves, when it is their job to teach the children as well. The things that go on here should get the place shut down. No wonder it's rated a C- school, doesn't surprise me at all, lol. Like, they will recommend that a child needs glasses to be able to see the board, then make that child remove their glasses in class. They will say a child needs a tutor and offer to help find one and then never do it, all the while complaining to parents that the child needs one and doesn't have it. None of the teachers are willing to help stay late to help the kids either. They will say they have a zero tolerance for bullying, but then blame the victim when it happens and turn a blind eye to it. They will also tell you that your child is failing classes when they actually aren't, just to scare you into doing what they want or not reporting them for their nonsense. They will even forge documents and make things up to try to make themselves seem better or to get themselves out of trouble. If you think the teachers here care about the children, you are wrong. One of the teachers got drunk over the weekend and was telling the kids about it in class. She was probably still drunk, because she wrote assignments in the childrens' agendas on days that school wasn't even in session (I mean it wasn't even on the right week, wow) and then expected parents to sign that nonsense. If you write something in the agenda back to their teachers or send them a note, they ignore it most of the time, or seem to misunderstand, but if you ignore something they say, oh boy... And they have the poorest communication I have ever heard of from a school. If you request a conference, they are always 'too busy'. And their parking rules are atrocious, don't even get me started on that nonsense. Also... If your child is special needs or has ADHD then especially beware, because this school has NO IDEA how to handle that kind of thing, they just get mad at the kid for not paying attention, without trying to work with them and help teach them how to stay focused and learn. They blame the children for their failure, instead of even bothering to try to actually help them like they're supposed to. All of this is based on my and my family's experience with this particular school. Please be wary of sending your kids here. After several years of bullying from their peers and neglect from the staff, I am happy to say that we no longer send our kids here and they are at a different school that actually cares, where they are now doing much better. They will never be going back here and I hope no one else sends their kids to this hellhole either. It's terrible. :\"

"I have zero complaints in regards to the school, teachers, and educational system. The one aspect that stands out the most, is that the students ethnicity is dominated by Mexicans. Many of whom don't speak the language yet, therefore they hire assistant teachers to help those falling behind."

"Compared to other schools in this county, Reddick has the most supportive, highly-positive atmosphere that encourages our kids to do more, be more, and be the best they can be and ENJOY their education than anywhere else I can think of. There will always be trouble getting all kids on-board in the classroom, but the heart is there in the staff and the kids are so amazing to make their education their #1 priority. I am honored to be a part of this community."

"They don't care about the kids at this school. They just go through the motions. It's just a paycheck for the staff. Most of the kids that are willing to learn to get a chance to because of the other disruptive and disrespectful kids here."
