"My grandson has attended the Gulfport Montessori Academy 6 years, K-5th, and we have had a positive experience. The program has grown and improved every year ! The hands on , out of the box learning has expanded the learning experiences. We will miss GME, but we are blessed for the foundation we received !!"
"I too went here in 4th grade in 1993, what happened to the beautiful original building? While the kids here were not friendly I remember the school has such a beautiful look to it."
"My son has been bullied repeatedly by the same kids and the school will not move the kids to another class they will not stop it they haven't prevented it and my son is to the point of wanting to hurt himself out of depression and he's 9, I know the full blame for this is not on their shoulders but they are not doing any interference to properly prevent this Behavior, my family does not have the money to change to another school and he is in his zoned School."
"This school ....... it's nothing like it use to be . I registered my son who will be going to kindergarten next year and a week later I switched him to his zoned school. The front office staff is unorganized and unprofessional. After having to call the school board on them due to their lack of professionalism, I then learned that not only were they getting a new Principal next year due to the performance of the school (Grade D) but 36 out of the 37 teachers will be replaced . I feel I made a great decision by sending my son to his zoned school."
