"I have used DSA for 2 of my children and they have always been GREAT!! My childen loved going there and always talk positive about the teachers there. They are clean and affordable as well! One of my favorite things is they always accomodate my son waving bye to me through the window (he has always done that since a baby) it really helps establish security with him and with myself! I am so thankful for these great ladies/gentlemen!!"

"Our DD joined Sonshine Academy at 2. They were very understanding to a child separating from home for the first time. The teachers and staff are always so kind! It has been two years and now she’s starting VPK. She comes home happy, excited about her day and looking forward to the next one. The school puts out a calendar every month, has lunches, activities and other things listed. Would definitely recommend bringing your little one over to Debary Sonshine Academy!"

"I had an unpleasant experience at DSA. My 3-year-old son was not provided with any assistance during the initial days of transition. As per owner Mary, she had some preconceived notion that DSA won’t be a good fit for him and came to this conclusion within 3 days of him being there. He was provided no assistance or time to transition from his homely environment to the day care setup. My son is not used to sleeping on the floor and this was the major issue, someone had to help him. But DSA’s problem as they say is that they are understaffed. We tried our best to help our child during his nap time, but our offer was disrespectfully denied and we were not allowed to assist him or his teachers. I would not suggest this place to anybody whose needs assistance, transition time etc. We trusted the positive reviews here and were excited to send our child to DSA, but it turned out to be our worst customer service experience in DeBary."

"Both of my children have attended Debary Sonshine Academy and Armored Academy (the after school program at Debary Elementary), and I can honestly say that Ken and Mary have instilled wonderful values in my children. Ken and Mary are the most genuine, caring people I have ever met. I'm extremely grateful to have them in my life and the lives of my children. I HIGHLY recommend DSA for the care of your little ones...It's more than just a daycare, it's more like a family. They are WONDERFUL!"
