"Very good food and service. Nice big booths if preferred over sitting at a table. Our group of five ordered breakfast items: omelets, hashbrowns, pancakes, biscuits, etc. All were very good. Somone in our group wanted orange juice but when it was served in a bottle rather than a glass, she declined so don't expect to get fresh squeezed juice. The coffee is very good and the servers are very attentive to keeping the cups full. If you like pastries, they are, sadly, not on the menu. Free parking in a lot. Melanie's is conveniently located on Main Street."

"2024-01-27: I arrived at Melanie's Restaurant at 6am when they opened, on my way to go exploring. I ordered a half of Biscuit and gravy, a Meat Lovers Omelet, and a sweet tea. Nina was my waitress. She was very pleasant and kept my cup of sweet tea filled. The omelet was loaded with meat and was excellent."

"Food sucked. What was warm was barely warm (liver, mashed potatoes/gravy). Mostly cold/congealed. It was obviously premade/frozen. The sweet tea and fried okra (fresh!) were great tho. Never again."

"The food was nothing like it used to be, did not not even finish eating it. And I never leave food. The tea tasted like container had not been cleaned in months. The waitress took her time to come to us original, went all the way around us, and after we got meal she came around once and left before we could ask her a question. So sad bc this place he ad some of the best tasting food at one time."
