"I have tried letting the school know that my granddaughter cannot read very well and the work she brings home is way beyond a first grade level I don’t know how these kids can have a concept of what they’re doing when they cannot read or read the instructions that are brought home for us to go over with her. they are having first graders do a third grade level and I see the frustration in my granddaughter and all I get from them is oh she’s doing OK. And the atmosphere surrounding the front desk is not very pleasing"
"Last year I was happier with the school. This year is awful. I paid for my son spirit shirt for this year which is different from last in august. Still haven shirt. I pay basket still no clue when is going to start after several months. Lately everything is Money. Media fees, pictures every month, carnival that cost 30$ plus that only includes bouncing houses, no food, no drinks… extras you need to pay. Plus all the snack days (did i mention every day) All sales are FINAL. Money, money, money… very disappointed this year. But teachers are good, the problem Is the administration, their focus is the wrong one."
"School could use a little more empathy, compassion and professionalism in the front office. I checked my daughter out due to a Dr's appt during early release and was told by the front office as well as the Principal that she could not return. I would like to think that there are special circumstances when those that are in authoritative positions would understand and make adjustments. This is not the only negative experience that I've had with the school in the last few years. I'm just choosing to share this one."
