"The better half and I, bypassed Lake City and went to Branford. We both bought a burger from the Branford Gathering Cafe. The outside patio was very quaint and well put together. However, the better half was too cold to eat outside. The inside of the Branford Gathering was nice and functional. It could use a little warming up. The music was good country music. They had a couple of small televisions that would probably have been better to be turned off. One had an infomercial for Total Gym, the other an awful basketball game. The burgers we ordered were the 10 ounces Burger for her. The BBQ Bacon Burger, for me. Both were made perfectly with a good amount of delicious fries. Our server was very attentive and worked well with our table and other patrons. Overall, we had a very good meal and would definitely return to the Branford Gathering. One thing that needs addressed is a bearing somewhere in the kitchen that needs grease or replacement. It kind of drowned out the good country music. Apparently, the ownership is trying to open a location in Live Oak, as well. Hopefully, if they choose to expand to the Lake City market, they don't fall prey to what ails the HWY 90 restaurants."

"Very nice all the way around. Loved the rustic setting. The meatloaf special with mashed potatoes and gravy was excellent and perfect for the cool weather. We would return for more great food and atmosphere."

"We had a party of 20, they were amazing, all our food came out hot and bever had to ask for refills on any drinks, We sat outside as the restaurant inside could not accommodate 20 people. The space was perfect. We called ahead to make sure they could accommodate a large group before arriving. One of our favorite places to eat in our little town. ❤️"
