"Have had 2 children enrolled in the school (from 2 year old through VPK and after school care). We love the teachers, the curriculum, and the extra activities they offer. It’s a close-knit group who truly care about our kids and family. Most importantly, our children love it. I have to time my pick ups because there is definitely tears if I pick them up too early - they enjoy each day so much they don’t want to leave!"

"Highly recommend this school. We have loved every class, from 2 year old through VPK. All of the teachers and staff are wonderful! Our children have thrived here and truly love to learn, read and ask questions because it’s just a part of who they are now, from learning so much and the advancement that LLC brings. It’s a family friendly environment with lots of interaction with the teachers and hearing about what the children are doing. Definitely one of the best parenting choices we’ve made so far!"

"This is the only school my daughter has ever attended. Pre-K to 3rd grade. She absolutely adored this school for the first few years, and as parents, so did we. The teachers were excellent and highly committed to the education and nurturing of their students. After first grade however, there were several shake ups with staff and administration, and promises were made to parents that were not kept. New teachers were hired who were progressively worse. One in particular ( former public school teacher) used a bizarre form of punishment/reward system that caused emotional trauma to several children. At one point I asked this teacher what the children could do to meet her standards and she replied "Stay in their seats, do their work, and leave me alone". This just one example of the school/ teachers becoming more financially driven and far less concerned with the nurturing and well being of children as their mission statement indicates. The last straw for me was picking up my daughter to find her absolutely hysterical, claiming that the teacher told her that she was incapable of the work that she turned in and accused her, in front of myself AND in front of my 9 year old daughter that her abilities were not good enough to have performed the work. She also admitted that her own son (who is one of her students) is the standard by which she measured my daughter's work. Completely unacceptable for a tuition based private school. The final insult? After all our years with them, they never even attempted to phone to try and understand what had occurred or even offer apology. Truly disappointing as we expected her to remain there till she passed out of grade eligibility."

"I toured Lutz Learning Center last year when looking for a new school for one of my children. I immediately know LLC would be a great opportunity for my youngest son. He had always done fine in school, but since he didn't require any additional attention (good or bad) he never really got any at school. In 3rd grade he was falling through the cracks and he was starting to not want to go to school. His school year at LLC has been fantastic -- he is learning to love being a reader and the maturity in his learning has been amazing to watch. For my son, the flexibility to truly individualize the learning to the need of all students within the class has absolutely made all the difference. And that goes beyond academics to include socialization, recreation, and character trait development. Last week my son brought home a stack of work from the 1st semester. He told me to make sure I looked through it before I threw it away. I explained that I always look through the work he brings home, and that I pick a few of the very best pieces to hold onto in his memory box. He responded by telling me that I'd have to keep everything because Lutz Learning Center students only do their best work. Aside from the obvious gains in his academic abilities, the pride and confidence that my son has regained through Lutz Learning Center is priceless to me. I can't recommend Lutz Learning Center highly enough!"

"This school is an amazing place for your child to learn. My daughter attended Lutz Learning Center last year for VPK. She has always been very bright and I was drawn to the idea of really challenging kids to reach their full potential that this school employs. She learned SO much there. She would come home telling me she learned about Thomas Edison, or showing me papers of how she was writing full sentences (at 4 years old!) We ended up having to move halfway through the year and I didn't realize how good we had it with the school until we tried to locate a new school in our new hometown. Nothing else was even remotely challenging, or even worth our time. She was far ahead of what every other school I could find was teaching. Other schools wanted to teach her letter sounds and counting, when she was already reading and doing basic math in LLC. My daughter is in Kindergarten this year, at another new school (a nice highly respected charter school) and she STILL is way ahead of the curve with only what she learned at LLC. Nothing I have found compares to the quality of this little school. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend enrolling your child here. They respect that kids are smarter than most people give them credit for, and really hold them to a higher standard, and in turn, the kids achieve more. If I could pick this school up and move it to where we live now, I wouldn't hesitate, because it's the best I've seen."
