"The food selection at Sandy Spear is not too bad, however as a previous review mentioned, the cheeseburger did not have any other vegetables and only consisted of the patty and cheese. I think that better quality control in the kitchen is needed as there have been incidences where I felt that the place was not as hygienic as they could've been, and the prices are all right (compared to other fast food places). #SandySpearFSUPC"

"The service at Sandy Spear is excellent and the waterfront view is breathtaking. As a vegetarian, I noticed that Sandy Spear has quite limited options such as fries, Mac&Cheese, and Cole slaw, and none of them particularly stood out. "One of the first times I came in I saw the man cooking my food without gloves and also say him coughing in the back. The food is kinda like the stuff you would get in Highschool. I don’t think anything there has any real flavor to it. I really like the service though. Everyone is very polite so that’s a plus. I just wish the food was better because it’s not great unfortunately to me. This place has the potential to be bigger if the food was more than decent. #SandySpearFSUPC"

"I am currently student at FSU Panama City, and when I am on campus for class I always get my fill at The Sandy Spear. On campus so I do not need to leave and waste gas on an extra drive for lunch. It's at the back of the campus right by the water, so you have a beautiful view while you study and snack. The staff could not be more friendly and the food is exactly what I am looking for when I am on the go before or after class. The Buffalo Chicken Shack Fries are my current go to, but I also enjoy a good salad for a lighter meal. I have had most of the menu and I have not been disappointed. If you find yourself on campus and feeling the need for a good bite, you have my recommendation. #SandySpearFSUPC"

"A nice place - I ordered a cheeseburger. They do mean it when they say "cheese burger" - that was all it was, no onion or anything, and the patty was a bit charred for my liking. But it did give a kind of backyard BBQ vibe to it, and it definitely wasn't a bad burger. (I'd much rather have a bit of a char to it than have an undercooked burger, you know?) There was ketchup provided, which improved it a lot. The mac n cheese was good, although it would have been nice to have salt shakers provided as it doesn't have a lot of that. Everything was served hot, utensils and napkins were given when the food arrived. This is the only restaurant in walking distance of Seminole Landing, and for that it's very good food - if I want the most amazing burger I've ever had, I'll get a ride to some other restaurant. Don't expect anything earthshattering and you won't be disappointed. Plenty of seating, everything was clean, and the music wasn't too loud. It seems like they might have just re-opened, so I can imagine they'll only improve from here. I'm excited to try their other menu items."
