"After a big mess with ordering and waiting what seemed like forever, we finally get our food. Unfortunately we were missing the apple pies. Well, they also forgot another man's fries. After a disgruntled employee got the gentleman's fries he asked what did we forget for you. We told him just the apple pies. He grabbed them, handed us the bag, and said here are your damn pies! Really? We didn't forget them, you did, we didn't show any anger or attitude, just simply wanted what we paid for. This new generation really needs a wake up call."

"This location did three things perfectly in the drive-thru near noon on a Saturday that isn't always easy at other restaurants in the area. 1) Made my two Cheeseburgers exactly correct, each with different customizations. 2) Delivered piping hot French fries cooked to order like I asked for. 3) Filled my fry box to the top. Thank you very much. I'll be back. Very easy access just North of I-10 at Exit 22."

"My family and I recently had a less than satisfactory experience at the McDonald's on Avalon. After enjoying a delightful meal at an upscale restaurant, we decided to indulge in a sweet treat on our way home. Despite the chilly weather, we all had a craving for ice cream sundaes. However, our anticipation turned into disappointment when we were informed that their ice cream machine was down. This wasn't a one-time occurrence. This particular issue has happened to us multiple times at this specific McDonald's location (we often drive by this location right after going out since it’s right off the freeway on the way home). We've been denied our craving for ice cream sundaes around five or six times due to the same reason. It's unclear whether they're cleaning their machine or if it's already cleaned and they simply don't want to use it. Regardless, this recurring issue has left a sour taste in our mouths. This consistent disappointment has not only affected our desire for their ice cream but has also impacted our overall attitude towards dining at this location for other meals. It's disheartening to see a global chain like McDonald's failing to meet the expectations of its customers, especially when it comes to something as simple as an ice cream sundae. In conclusion, our experience at McDonald's on Avalon has been far from satisfactory. The recurring issue with the ice cream machine has been a source of frustration and disappointment. I hope they rectify this issue soon, as it is certainly affecting their customer satisfaction and potentially their overall business."

"The people were rude and totally screwed up my order. The drinks we got were diet and regular and we asked which was which bc it wasn’t marked and the girl said oh I don’t know I just took them off and handed them to you and didn’t look. Didn’t offer to take them back and redo them like any place would do normally so I had to taste the nasty diet in order to get them to the right person. Definitely won’t be going there again. I’ll drive down the highway further and find something else in my way back home. The food wasn’t that bad but wasn’t great either."
