"We ate there multiple times during our holiday season hotel stay and had overall a very good experience. The gumbo was outstanding - huge portion and arguably the best I've had in a restaurant . Various entree salads were also generous and tasty. My crabcake entree was so good that my husband got the crab cake sandwich the next day. The breakfast buffet was diverse and tasty. Not sure if they are on the regular menu, but both the pecan pie and the carrot cake from the Christmas buffet were worth every calorie. Service was gracious. The brand new decor is lovely. Overall the pricing seemed a bit steep, the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5."

"We’ve been vacationing in Pensacola Beach for 20 years and love all restaurants in the area. The new and updated menu at Salt was exciting and it was hard to choose. My husband and I got an appetizer and our own main dishes and desserts and shared them with each other. All the dishes were the freshest, most delicious meals both of us have had. Presentation of the meals, atmosphere with piano and saxophone made it one of the most enjoyable dinner experience. We were also were able to keep up with the NFL games live. Couldn’t recommend a better place to dine! To top it off, our waitress, Shelby, was such a pleasure and upon asking her if she could pass our applause to the chef, Chef Johnny came to our table and we shook hands and engaged in a fun, personal conversation!"

"Had a very nice birthday dinner at Salt. the food was very good,starting with a little pita and tapenade starter followed by a very nice house salad. I had the crab cakes and the grilled asparagus. It was done perfectly. hubby had the shellfish over rice and it was delicious! Our waiter, Kevin was very attentive and friendly. It’s November so no crowds and it was nice and quiet, though I am sure the noise level goes up in the summer. Had the chocolate cake for dessert and really liked it. I have nothing to complain about, it was all great!"

"WOW!! This was hands down the best seafood dish I've had in a very very long time! It was a chef's special, which he came out and asked how we liked everything. The service was wonderful and it was very clean. The kids got their dinners fast and the staff was accommodating towards children."
