"Had to the worst hot dog ever. Nasty red hotdog. Tasteless chili. Old tea. One bite and in the garbage."

"We passed by today and noticed that the store is closed on Sundays and Mondays. When he saw us, he asked my husband what he needed. We wanted to buy a bushel of green peanuts and he opened up for us when he learned that we came from Illinois. He told us that Bob was his father who started the business. He is kind and very accommodating. We’ll come back again to patronize this business."

"Awesome chili dogs and burgers. Best in town if you ask me and the service is great! Been going here for a long time now."

"I’ve been stopping in here for several months now, filling my Truck and my boat up with gas, on my trips to and from Lake Eufaula. Have always loved their hotdogs and the fact they have non-ethanol gas, made it very convenient to stop in, never again. Today my Buddy and I stopped in for gas and hotdogs, as we walked in my Buddy and I were discussing the pros and cons of buying the more expensive the more non-ethanol gas, so while the gas filled my truck, I asked the young man behind the counter what his opinion on it was. From him saying that he wasn’t going to do my research for me, to him offering to draw me a icture, due to the fact I’m basically deaf. Then he told me I was irritating , that I needed to slow down, I said wait, have I said something wrong to you, and he said I bet you have trouble filling you. I was trying to figure out what I had said or done to offend this young man. That’s when he callas me a jerk. Then I told him i had never heard of an employee of a business talk to a customer like he was doing, he said ‘Deal with it’. I would push my vehicle thru Headland before I ever spent another penny with them. My friend said he thought my loud voice (due to hearing loss) offended him.And then he said he didn’t care if ever came back, I’m betting he doesn’t own the store, more like his Dad, and whoever the owner is, he needs to be made aware of this young mans rudeness. You know, I worked with the public 30 years, and never said anything like that to a customer. With that attitude, he won’t have to worry about it much longer!!!"

"Old school, no pay-at-pump, gas station/hot dog shop/bait shop/fireworks store. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, the drinks are cold, and the chili dogs are good. I don't believe the fishing bait is kept in the kitchen, but I'm not 100% sure about that. Either way, it's worth the gamble."
