"one of the worst experiences of my life. its a nice company with benefits but they feed you and feed you so u forget all the bad. alot of the staff members seem to not engage and like the minorities at the company. the minorities feel unwanted and unwelcomed. they are looked over. alot of the audit staff are fighting for positions and get mad if a minority is given it."
"I truly see why this business has such a poor rating. After waiting with communication delays (I had to send followup emails); they are now stating that because I won't provide them with information not needed to do my taxes that they won't complete my taxes. I truly hope that this is being done with every single one of their customers because if I find out differently I'll definitely be escalating this."
"I used HLB Gross for my 2021 taxes. They were slow and difficult to work with, but my real complaint is they took account information, said they’d pay taxes, and missed payment on a state. Months later, with hundreds of dollars of interest and penalties that had accumulated on the unpaid taxes, I got a nonapology (for the “miscommunication” — this was a plain error by them, not a miscommunication), and no compensation for the interest and penalties their error caused. Their skill level and customer service are seriously wanting."
"I just called today to inquire about thier services. I introduced myself on the phone and the lady that answered immediately midsentence put my on hold. I continued to stay on hold for 6 minutes without anyone coming back to the phone. The sad part is that I was referred to this company by my pervious CPA that I outgrew. If this is how your company treats its current and new clients, I pity them and your companies future."
