"Amazing customer service! I placed an order for some mosaic marble tiles to match a project I did 10 years ago. I received an email that the material may have changed, and might not match. Wow! They look into your history. That was amazing. I ordered a sample. They contacted me to let me know they would give another sample of the specific lot on hand now. It was a match. The rep had me add his name to the order to be sure I received that exact lot. This was for a small order. The care and pride of the org is off the charts! Many thanks for all of their help."

"Wonderful experience. We were able to get marble penny tile for a fraction of the cost we found anywhere else which was awesome. It arrived quickly (maybe 3 days tops), without any broken or damaged pieces. We ended up ordering excess pieces and were able to return them for a full refund with no hassle. Customer service was pleasant and prompt. Will use them again in the future!"

"I have been a customer of The Builder Depot for six years, working on various renovation projects in my 100 year old home. The quality of the products is superb - beautiful stone, exactly as described, flawlessly cut, and easy for a contractor to work with. I have renovated two full baths using their products, and have tiled two new full baths with additional products. EVERYTHING has been gorgeous. Their selection is enormous and the product received looks like the pictures online. I have recently had to revise an order I made; I worked with Ben Mize from Customer Service, who was the epitome of professional help, resolving my problem quickly and efficiently and graciously. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them in the future for any other projects I do."

"Samples arrived great. Placed my order, it arrived and was as indicated. I did experience the same thing others have when I had to order additional tile and ended up having to purchase extra just to get to the minimum order, but that was understandable. I was disappointed that the honed Bianco 4x12 tile that I ordered to be the border around the main floor of the 2x3 honed Bianco Basketweave did not match at all. I sent an email to Ben at customer service. He advised me that it is a natural product and color variations should be expected. As others have pointed out, there is a significant difference between some of their lots and care was not taken to match mine. I ended up just going with it as I didn’t want the time delay of trying another batch. Next problem was when the 12x24 Polished Venato Carrara was installed by my installers, even though it was sealed, it discolored around the edges of each one. Again I contacted Ben at customer service and he said it had to be the fault of the installation. My contractor contacted Ben and gave him the information regarding the products used and process of sealing and he continued to reiterate that he sent us tile that was in good condition and the rest was not his responsibility. Okay, so I decided to just try to live with this since it was not super pronounced. When we were finally able to move into our finished home and use the bathroom . . . After just the fourth time of showering . . . we noticed what looks like water being absorbed in the tiles. It seemed to be growing each time we used the shower. Again I contacted Ben at customer service. This is part of the response I receive, “The tile you’re emailing us about has been installed and used. There were no issues with stains on the tile until after it had been installed and exposed to moisture.” Not only is this not accurate since we did have issue with the staining as soon as it was installed, but the whole purpose of purchasing tile was to be used in a shower, thus there will be moisture. Even though all of these tiles were sealed by our installers they are continuing to absorb water. I asked for a partial refund to help cover the cost of now having to demo, repurchase and re-install a brand new bathroom and he was very clear that he felt no obligation to issue any amount. I will admit that I have gotten oodles of positive comments from people who see our bathroom, unfortunately form needs to follow function and if these tiles can not function for the purpose they were purchased, they are a bad buy. Oh, there was one other incident of contacting Ben, we purchased the border Basketweave to add to our shower. It was designed to go around the window so I purchase four of the corner pieces. When they arrived we realized they don’t connect in opposite direction. They were only designed to create a box so they didn’t line up. I contacted Ben and he sent me two additional pieces. Again they didn’t line up. When I informed him they didn’t work he said they would not be able to make us the correct piece. He did end up refunding me the cost of the four pieces that I had purchased, but I didn’t understand why this was so difficult. Thankfully, our installers are master craftsmen and he was able to use the pieces out of the backward corners and piece together a corner going the correct direction. The final look turned out amazing! I do not recommend this stone or this company."

"The quality, responsiveness and the pricing is convergent to the overall value for the product received. I would definitely recommend them. Just completed the master bath project, and the results are amazing! Attached are few before/ after pics....the marble is looking so awesome and the patterns are great....very nice product, quality and overall appearance. Will definitely recommend to friends and family."
