"Due to water damage in our basement home, we spoke with Chris before driving out to Carpets of Dalton. He was helpful, funny, and it “seemed” we’d be in good hands for carpeting. We chose a few samples and he was ordering them to be mailed to us. It took awhile, and we got ONE of the samples. When I called him he actually yawned, knowing it was me because he’d already told me he has caller ID, as he answered his phone. We think his tune changed when he saw the size of the amount he THOUGHT we’d be ordering. What we never got the chance to tell him was that we’d decided to buy carpet for all 2,000 sq ft. He never knew because we never got our other samples and calls weren’t being returned. His installer that he recommended, Jason in Atlanta, answered my call right away, said there was a crew right by us and they’d come measure in the next day or two. Never heard from him again. I called and texted and he said, oh yeah, lemme check with the guys now, and they can get there today. Never a word back. So two flakes obviously working (not working) together on being flakes, I texted them both to just forget it, we’re going with Flack’s Flooring, who had our carpet installed within THREE days!!"

"If we are able to give "0" star, then I will. We have ordered and paid them 3 weeks ago. On the day we come to pick up the products to begin our project on the date they promised. They said they didn't have the product and acting very impolite. NEVER ever trust this business again....beware of the guy who is name Terry Palmer!!!! he talks like street ganger and absolutely not as a claim manager as his title said!!!!"

"I have never written a review but Carpets of Dalton was a revelation! I was having so much trouble finding a reputable dealer, tried Costco and a few design firms but as months dragged on I still had no carpet. Finally, I remembered driving and seeing C of D on the road on the way north on 75. There was every quality of carpet and pad, plus gorgeous furniture (who knew) and a huge literal "showhouse" to get ideas from. Jerry was very very helpful and patient with my mother and even helped us find and helped us with a quality installer after I ran into trouble trying to find one near me. I can't say enough good things and I could not be happier with my very nice carpet. Thanks Jerry!"

"We visited the Carpets and Furniture of Dalton because they sent us a sales pamphlet via US mail. The advertisement should have stated that it was a huge floor model sale. It seemed like that was the case. We were about to purchase. We were told that all three of the furniture we liked were not in their warehouse, but they could order them with an additional two hundred dollars. Floor models with stains or scratches are available for purchase without a return policy. We observed a lot of staff doing nothing except sitting around chatting with each other and ignoring customers. The salesperson on the floor was the only one who was friendly and working. A staff member waved me away with a hand gesture, indicating that the next sales window could be of assistance. She was occupied with chatting and eating with a person who was sitting behind the sales window."

"It’s the only place to go for any decent Furniture, Flooring, Rugs, and quality kitchen cabinets or appliances. Every room in my home is a great testament to the time and effort of the staff at Carpets of Dalton. Very friendly, helpful and professional. Attention to detail is never overlooked and the designers will take the time that you need to know that much care has gone into the process. And everything I have ordered is top, top quality and is lasting through normal wear even better than I expected. They also have such a wide selection of special vendors that you can always find the right piece for the right place. And despite the price tags, which I have seen others reference, make sure to talk to a sales person. It’s much more affordable than you may think, and I have found that the VALUE is spot on for what I have paid. As long as I’ve been buying furniture or flooring or anything else, including accessories, paintings, mattresses, and even bed linens, Carpets of Dalton has remained CONSISTENT and I will never go anywhere else. Remember, you really get what you pay for. And this place is the only place that sells quality that is time tested to last. Also, don’t forget to visit the “Dream Home,” a Southern Living FULL SIZE (Real) house built inside their facility. It’s really a sight to see! Very inspiring and is redesigned periodically. Carpets of Dalton gets my A+++ rating every time."
