"They have great customer service, even the Spa chair was great. I went in on Friday @3pm, didn’t leave until 5:30. I was so irritated, I asked for a manicure and pedicure, he cut my cuticles up. I have gel nails and by Saturday the gel polish was peeling off. My hands look horrible. I spent $65 smh waste of money"

"I should have read the reviews before coming here...But EVERYTHING is a lesson learned. Went there today to get my daughter's nails done for her 8th grade dance. I have positive and negative feedback: Positive: the nail technician was thorough and friendly. She made sure that the length and shape were exactly what my daughter wanted it to be. Negative: it took a while to sit in the chair. Not a lot of staff members. The design on my daughter's nails looks TERRIBLE!!! It looks like a 6 year old did it. I wish the nail tech was honest and said that she didn't know how to or wasn't comfortable with designs. You can clearly tell she isn't!! She continued to ask my daughter if it was pretty and if she liked it. Of course she said yes, but she's 13... She's just happy to be pampered!! I didn't want to cause a scene because one, it wasn't about me, two because two other ladies had already done that (that's another story), and three I felt that doing a review was more effective than getting my blood pressure high. Bottom line: I will NEVER visit this place again, even though it's close to my house. I DO NOT recommend this place, AT ALL!!!"

"The place was ok. They tried to use the cheese greater on my feet which I know is illegal where I’m from. My nails look ok but already started peeling where she left polish on my skin. Polish on my feet is pretty sloppy. Just overall underwhelming."

"On Wed 4/28/21 was my first and last time visiting Hollywood Nails. When I first came in Jack asked me what services I wanted. I let him know I had acrylic on both big toes and that I wanted them removed. When I was seated the nail technician looked at my toes, she started speaking none English language. Jack and another female nail technician was sitting directly across from us at the manicure tables and they both were with customers. I asked her what was the problem, Jack indicated that she was not trained in the acrylic nail removal, and she did not speak English but she could file them down for me. I agreed to have them filed down. This was the first time I had acrylic on my toes and having them filed down so I did not know what to expect.While watching her file the nails down, it seem as if she did not know what she was doing and Jack and her stayed in communication speaking non English. I ask Jack if she knew what she was doing? and he replied yes, I am tell her what to do. Days later both nails cracked. I called and spoke to Lisa because she said Jack I was out of town, she told me to come in Wed 5/6/21 at 2pm. When I arrive Jack was there and he was so busy telling me how much he was going to charge me to repair the nail, he never apologize or took responsibility for the mishandling that I experience. I did not have a receipt because I Cash app them my payment, so I was unable to dispute this awful situation. I will file a complaint on Jack Nguyen & Bich Lu. I am a small business owner also and I know how to treat people, all people."
