Camp Sequoyah Boy Scout Office is located at 4907 County Road 11 in Delta, Alabama, United States. Nestled within the Talladega National Forest near Mt. Cheaha, the highest point in Alabama, our camp offers a unique and exciting summer camp experience. With a focus on the Patrol Method, our program is youth-led and full of adventure.
During your week at Camp Sequoyah, you will have the opportunity to earn merit badges, participate in troop activities, and enjoy evening events such as campfires and the Adventure Valley Mud Run. Our Trail to First Class Program allows Scouts to work towards important rank requirements while having fun with their peers.
For those looking for a high adventure experience, our Mountaineering program offers activities such as white water rafting, sailing, and hiking Mt. Cheaha. The week culminates in our famous Water Carnival, where Scouts compete in various water-based events to be crowned champion.
We invite you to join us for a pre-camp leader orientation meeting on May 13th to learn more about what to expect at Camp Sequoyah. "This camp is a wonderful place to spend your summer vacation. I spent a week down here, and it was beautiful. The lake is clean and shimmers as the waves of the sun beat down on the lake. The food here is not the best, is better than most BSA summer camps, but is still ok. They have a waterslide that may look small, like it would end, and be over fast, but it is really fun. If you are a boy scout and you are in Alabama, this is a great place for summer camp. The staff is so friendly and this is a beautiful piece of land. Have fun."
