"All the workers at the buy counter were pleasant and efficient! It’s the only Plato’s I’ve dropped off at in the ATL area that had my clothes back to me in under an hour. Obviously, Plato’s is not the place to go if you’re looking to turn big profit on your used clothing, but I received a respectable amount in exchange for clothes I would have otherwise donated. Will be happy to return!"

"I drove about 45 minutes to this location. I was greeted when I came in, and granted when people see a stroller they don’t suspect a dog to be inside. I was in the store for about 20 minutes finding some okay things. For the owners to supposedly pride themselves in how the store look..where is the color coordination?? Everything just stuck on the racks, but that’s not even what the review is about because I was finding some okay things. I’ve walked pass the front counter maybe three times going though each isle, and a lady stops me and say “I didn’t know that was a dog in there” I smile and say yes because like I said most people don’t suspect a dog, but she proceeds to say “oh dogs are not allowed only service dogs with the service label on” …where’s that written at on the door? I even googled was Plato’s closet pet friendly it said yes and even went as far to search for the “policy” and there’s not one to be found. Something made up. I would completely understand if my dog on a leash wondering around on the floor be she’s secured in a STROLLER not making one sound. I’m a buying customer with items in hand and I put everything back (stuck them anywhere..not like they organized no way) because the employee couldn’t say nothing but “they don’t allow pets”. No proof. No nothing. I just put items back because what’s the point of spending money here. If y’all going to have a VERBAL POLICY make sure it’s written somewhere else too."

"I'm writing this review on behalf of my parents who visited the store yesterday, 10/09, to consign some clothes. They arrived at this location located in Jonesboro between 1pm- 1:30pm and had a disappointing experience. They explained to me that they dropped off the clothes and were told they wouldn't be ready for pick up for an hour and a half (the time frame is fine but they do not text or call you when your clothes are ready for pick up so you have to time it yourself). Upon picking up the clothes, an hour and a half later, my parents noticed that the clothes hadn't even been looked at. They were folded and laying in the bins the same way we arranged them when we had arrived. These people intentionally wasted my parents time. After all that time they didn't even look through the clothes my parents brought in. I'm not sure if they were discriminated against because of their age but that's the impression they left with. The clothes didn't even belong to my parents. They belonged to me. Either way, it shouldn't matter what the person looks like or the age of the person who drops off the clothes. Everyone's items should be looked at fairly. Please treat your clients and customers better."
