Vue on 30a

"The food was amazing! Filet minion was to die for as well as the fish. Our server was a high professional, very knowledgeable and thoughtful. Great customer service, great food, probably the best in the area. Thank you very much for letting us feel so welcoming tonight!"

"My assessment of the Vue on 30A is that I do not think that they’re focused on returning business or locals. Most restaurants in tourist areas are busy regardless of food or services so I think the Vue on 30A falls into that category. Looking at pricing on the menu is high serving mediocre food. The atmosphere is good for I think fine dining. When it comes to food it doesn’t fit what this establishment should be. From food plating to some of the items on the menu. Also is there a different in class in terms of service? If you are seated outdoor they serve you plastic water cups versus if they sat you indoor your water will be served in glasses. I found that is so odd. Plating for food that is served on is just regular household round plates? Are they trying to missed the market internationally? The price is high for the food that they offer on the menu. The shrimp and scallops dish as an example. The shrimp are battered and fried hard like southern fried batter on a bed of carrots and peas pod? YIKES!!! Also their tomahawk pork grilled served with barbecue source? Look like a 20 year old trying to be a chef working in that kitchen. Music wise using Sonos wireless speaker placing it on the dinning chair for music? Really!!! Come on management! Their service and the atmosphere is good and decent. The view have so much potential if management focused on food with the type of client they trying to capture."

"Surprised we never heard of this restaurant. Really great view of the beach and Gulf waters and the bonus is a great sunset view with dinner if the timing is right. We started with a couple of drinks at the bar and right away noticed a great bourbon selection. We were then escorted to our table for our reservation time. Chris was our waiter and was great letting us know about the menu items and he and the staff were very attentive ensuring all was good and anything we needed was taken care of. The better half had the lamb and lobster which were perfectly cooked as requested and I had the fish of the day which was Crusted blackened Snapper with a bed of red potatoes and really good chili based sauce again perfect and so tasty. To cap off my evening I spoiled myself with a Pappy Van Winkle 10 year (yes they have a great bourbon selection as mentioned). Recommended and if reservations needed use Open Table."

"Great restaurant for a fancy night out on 30A that is off the beaten path. Reservations are recommended. The best time is before sunset and the table to covet is the one in the corner with all of the windows! We had a great time and our waitress was a delight! It was like a bougie dinner without the snobs for staff - the venue was very clean and nice and our waitress was warm, friendly and genuine - just like a long lost friend - (Sandra was her name I think) The lobster was great and the deserts were even better! They have a 1 pound lobster! We opted for steak and lobster and it was delicious!"
