"Wow. What a great discovery. Just up the road from Auburn and keeping with the eclectic feel of small town Waverly. The setting is fun and welcoming. When we drove up it was evident the restaurant is not a secret. Good thing we had reservations. The Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Our waiter was attentive but didn't rush us. We told her we were there to take our time and relax which she responded. The food and presentation were fabulous. I had the blue crab cakes and my wife the pork both were delicious. We will be back."

"I had heard from several friends about this place and finally went last week. The food was incredibly. The service was prompt and friendly. Very cool building. Seems very well managed/run. Definitely will go back and highly recommend! I got the burger with mac and cheese...wow!"

"I went to The Waverly Local on a Sunday for brunch with my daughter. We enjoyed the live music and small town Southern ambiance. Before even eating, I had fallen in love with the place because they had done such a good job restoring the old building in which the restaurant is located. They respected it’s history while breathing new life into it. My daughter and I sat at one of the massive booths. I love a spacious booth! Still the cozy feel, and nobody is going to spill out onto the floor. On Sundays at The Waverly Local, they serve a breakfast buffet rather than a traditional menu. I recommend the potatoes. My daughter had the coconut cake for dessert, and I had some of the icing. It was rich, fluffy, and delicious! The cocktails looked tempting, but I was driving. I’m sure I’ll eventually park myself outside on the patio at the vintage military truck bar for a few drinks though. The service at the Waverly Local was fantastic, from the hostesses at the door to our waiter. Everyone was very friendly, and I am looking forward to returning and trying their typical menu fare."

"We ran across this town and restaurant on instagram and decided to check it out! It’s a nice Saturday afternoon destination with a couple other stores & a bakery to check out before dinner! Reservation are super easy to make through Google maps & we had no wait when we got there. We ate the pasta & salmon! Both were delicious! Then we got a slice of the coconut cake for dessert! Well worth checking out! There’s not a ton to do in the town, but around 2 hours before dinner makes for a nice day!"
