"Everything you eat and are served is pretty much prepared, frozen and then warmed up or its frozen food they have brought in and not made there...and you can definitely tell. Most things taste like water and are soggy.. The okra was burned and so dry it was like eating sand with jerky... Worst part is how much I wanted to like this place. I'm from quite a few hours further south... looking for a nice home cooking, country dinner place. This is not it.. The Mac n cheese was good, and the desserts were wonderful (cake seemed a bit old/dried out but still good flavor) However...when I asked I found out most of that isn't even made here either...The servers are sweet and everyone seemed like friends and family dining there. Which I guess explains the good reviews. Honestly, great people...which is why it sucks I have to say awful food... Loved the vibe of the place..but they do not have the food to match it..."
"Home style cooking, generous portions, and attentive service. Nothing fancy, but food is good and a nice variety of offerings. Large selection of daily specials and Desserts. Drive up pickup and takeout orders also popular."
"The food was mediocre. I ordered the fried chicken, but it lacked flavor and was dry. The mac and cheese had a similar issue. The service was slow, but I understand that they were busy. Aside from these issues, the food was passable. However, based on my experience, I probably wouldn't choose to return."
