"One of the employees there is just the most rude and inconsiderate man you could meet. He treats the customers like trash and behaves so unprofessionally. I would not recommend anyone do business there."

"While the owner is a decent guy and will negotiate, this place and the people that run it are only in it for the money. Like any other pawnshop they are there to rip everyone off that walks through the doors, bleeding anyone they can for every single dollar possible. During the pandemic while everyone was panic buying, they jacked up their prices on guns and ammo. Meridian Ordnance didn’t raise their prices so any excuse other than greed simply won’t cut it. Recently while giving me a decent deal with one hand, they gouged me with the other. The owner actually letting me exchange a recent purchase earned them the extra star, nothing more. I recommend them as a last resort only. *Update* Was just disrespected by one of the employees on some sort of power trip because he didn’t like something about me. Good times, I’ll be knocking off another star."

"This place is a joke I walked in to look around with a boy that lives with his mammaw and because I walked in with him before she came in they said they couldn’t sell him and her a gun unless it went under me which I didn’t have nothing to do with why would I buy a gun in my name to let somebody eles take it home the man said he started dealing with me when there were no deals even started then they want to be rude as heck i recommend going to johnnys power sports or to by pass pawn in morehead"

"I bought an old sporterized rifle from here. After taking it to another store to get some stuff for it. I was told that the gun was unsafe to shoot and that I had also paid way to much for it. Even if it was one that was safe to shoot. So to anyone purchasing a firearm from here I highly recommend making 100% sure that there is nothing wrong with it and that it is a reasonable price."

"I'm not sure if the business has switched hands in the past year but I've bought several guns, ammo, accessories, tools and other items from this shop and it's changed so much. Every time I've gone in lately I've witnessed the employee taking advantage of the people pawning and buying. I'm not talking about regular pawn shop low balling but these guys have been trained to cheat these people. Mostly when buying gold. I did have a employee figure out I wasn't ignorant about things and offer to give me a better deal. This told me they don't mind screwing over uneducated people but would treat one of the guys better. It's a shame. This place was my go to gun shop and I told friends and family about buying here but I'll not anymore."
