"Like any facility there are good and bad staff. My mother had remarkable staff and the transformation she had there was incredible. The therapy staff were positively exceptional (fun and outgoing) and my mother actually loved going. In a month, she lost nearly 20 pounds and felt better than she had in years. The food is great. The staff were friendly (some not so much), and polite and whatever my mother asked for (nothing major just ice or coffee) she got. My only complaint is their communication stinks. I wasn’t kept in the loop on her progress or discharge. I’d go see her and she’s tell me all this stuff she was told and no one ever called me. Their social worker (a male) left me a VM about her being discharged, and never returned my call. They need to step up their comunication with the primary caregiver/POA."
