"Disappointing Experience I've explored various Mexican restaurants in the area, and unfortunately, this one won't be on my revisit list. My instincts initially hinted at a potential issue when I noticed the low attendance. I ordered a Mexican torta, and the first impression mattered. The bread was disappointingly hard, and the barbacoa lacked any discernible flavor. To add to the disappointment, no Mexican sauce was served, leaving the overall taste quite bland. In comparison to other places in the area, this hardly deserves to be called a torta. My wife opted for the special of the day, "caldo de res," and it was honestly the worst rendition I've ever encountered. It failed to resemble caldo de res in any way. While I'm not a professional cook, I've prepared better dishes myself. Regrettably, our visit here turned what could have been a pleasant afternoon into a culinary letdown. I believe the owner should seriously consider enhancing the quality controls to elevate the dining experience. In all honesty, I can't recommend this place based on the lackluster flavor and quality. There's room for improvement, and I hope the establishment takes these points to heart for the sake of its customers. After reading other reviews, it seems our experience might have been an exception. Perhaps it was just an off day for the restaurant. However, despite this possibility, I've decided not to come back. It's my hope that these comments will be taken constructively, encouraging the establishment to address any inconsistencies for the benefit of future customers."

"Delicious new Mexican joint! Cheese dip is on point. Fajitas and nachos both had huge portions. Everything actually had flavor! Quacamole had a lot of nice acidity. Also got the margarita flight, which was tasty. Some better than others, of course. Pricing is a bit all over the place. Some things were cheap, while others were expensive. The server was nice but super eager. Not many people know about it, so it was pretty dead for a Friday night. I've been disappointed by a lot of the Mexican offerings in the Auburn/Opelika area, but this is not one of them!"
