Ok, if you are still reading, you’ve been warned you could have saved yourself some time… Mandy performed nothing short of a miracle by cultivating a safe, accepting, calm, energetic (yes, I said both of those back to back and it’s somehow true!), and FUN space for people to grow, heal, and stretch (physically and more) through yoga. I walked in for the first time just three months ago and was terrified about being too old, out of shape, fat, inflexible, etc. and about being a guy who was sure to be surrounded by I don’t even know what, but it was scary… Until I walked through the door and felt and heard exactly what I needed before, during, and after class. Before I could even roll up my mat at the end of class, two incredibly kind humans came up to me to congratulate and hug me for trying my first class! Three months later after many classes with almost every teacher and my breathing is exponentially better (not trivial considering the permanent lung damage from COVID), my body is much more flexible and at ease within itself, and most importantly, I am so much healthier in my mind and soul.
