"Dr Carlton provided amazing care throughout my pregnancy. The issue I had with this clinic was pushy doctors about the Covid shot. Not everyone is comfortable taking an experimental shot while pregnant due to unknown harm it may cause. Dr Fried was very pushy. This was after I had told another doctor in the clinic that I was not getting it. She tried to instill fear that I would get very sick. Well fast forward to my delivery. Dr. Fried ended up being the doctor on call. She left me in the middle of full blown labor for another patient. About 10 minutes after she left, I had to scream for a doctor to come in the room to deliver my baby. By the time the resident doctor put on gloves, he had to catch my son before he fell on the floor. They also said I had Covid and billed as a high risk delivery. Which was definitely not the case and I filed a complaint about the upcoding. Atrium had to reimburse my insurance company. I did receive great care other than that. The office staff were always polite during my checkups."

"I left Women’s Healthcare of GA for this practice and I do NOT regret it! I never got the care and service I deserved at my other office but both the Macon and Warner Robins office are amazing. Great experience from check in to check out and their phlebotomists rock."

"Absolutely wonderful OBGYN providers for women services, I highly recommend Dr Harper - he has extremely wonderful bedside manner and patient follow up. Office staff at both locations are professional and compassionate. Not too sure why other rated this OBGYN office so low, but I have had nothing but a great experience. Especially during COVID where things are a bit uncertain, I felt comfortable giving birth under his care. I am extremely pleased with my plan of care with Dr Harper, and his supporting staff, he took great care of baby and me during my entire pregnancy and post delivery ensured my pain management was under control after my c-section. I had no issues with my surgery, and zero infection. Speaks volumes to how experienced he is with birth and delivery."

"I had to change doctors over half way through my pregnancy, not because of the Doctors or Staff, it is not a review of the care that they provide. My issue was on the finances and it could all be person issues that others will not be affected by. But I feel like people need to know that they charge a deposit that consist of your unmet deductible and co-insurance amount. And it must be paid in full by you 28th week of pregnancy. I knew I would not able to make this happen and when I talked to the billing department earlier in my pregnancy, I was told that I could apply for credit care, which they have a link to. But I also asked that in the event we were not approved for credit care, what would the next step be? On the financial agreement that I received it states that they would "assist in arranging other alternatives for care and delivery, if necessary." I did not receive such assistance.Their answer to my question was along the lines of all OB practices charge this way. So felt like I didn't have any other option than to just figure it out. Anyway, we applied for the credit care, and were declined, so we applied for medicaid, because that was the only way I was going to get paid by week 28. We were accepted, and when I called to add that to our insurance, they said that they do not usually accept medicaid but they would check with my doctor. In short, she had meet her medicaid quota and could not take any more medicaid patience. So I had to change doctors at 28 weeks. They did not "assist in arranging for alternative care". We I said I could not make that payment, that was the end. I found myself a new doctors office and it is all okay now, but I spent a good week and a half very stressed out about this drastic change, so late in my pregnancy. Like I said before, this all could just be unique to my situation and be personal problems that don't affect the majority of other patients. The doctors and staff were just fine, this review is not a reflection of the care that they give. I know a number of people that highly recommend these doctors and this office. I just feel like people need to know how their billing works, and there are other places that don't bill this way."
