Moore Middle School

"anyone who says this school is great , must have a child that is motivated and disciplined enough not to get dragged under by the criminal element at this school. There are some decent students here, but the garbage from the inner cities has made it to our county and their presence is known here. If your child is impressionable, get ready to lose your child. If your child is social, and values friends, get ready to lose your child. If you dont really care about your child, then this school would be an excellent choice . The staff tries, but they can only do so much. And this is when parent realize that there are parents out there that dont raise their children with morals or values. There are no extra curricular activities to engage children, there is nothing for them to look forward to , or to unite them as a school. Im worried the damage done to my child in the 1.5 years she attended here cant be undone, This is a warning , to help parents make a better decision about their childs future."

"I wish I could give this 0/5 stars. There is little good about this school. If you're concerned about your child's education, run from this school as fast as you can. And don't look back. Moore Middle School is just another trashy middle school where a kid could and would pick up a classless attitude and a persona of disrespect. See, this school isn't so ghetto. But the kids? Yeah, they act like they grew up on "the streets". Is that something you want to hear around the house? Concerning the teachers at Moore, let me say this. The teachers teach the absolute bare minimum. A school like this WILL NOT prepare your kid for any remotely challenging high school. It'll leave them suffering to try and keep up with the work. And with exceptions of about 2 teachers, T H E Y T R E A T T H E S T U D E N T S L I K E T R A S H. The adult figures feel no obligation to respect the students, at all. If you want your spirit crushed, come here. Because teachers have full authority and BOY do they abuse it. Basically, this means that the student has no power to complain about disrespect from teachers unless they want to get in trouble. Seems nice, right? A cycle of bullying and fear? I think this covers all the horrors of Moore Middle School. If you NEED another reason not to go here, just know that a friend of mine went here one year and decided to be homeschooled."

"I go here currently. The teachers are very nice. Lunch time could be longer. If you want to eat everything,you have scarf your food down. You do not get to choose want connections you want to join. The only connections you can choose from are band,chorus,and orchestra. I joined chorus the teacher is really nice and she is funny. Each grade had there own principal. I hope this paragraph is helpful!!!!"

"I went to this school before and I stand by rating. Sure the schools not that bad and it does give me an education, but the staff could be, a Little more ummm happy to be there. I know some teachers there that are pretty nice and cool, but others act like their ready to get out of that place. (Honestly one of the teachers there scared me). But like I said its not that bad we do get an education and I have learned things there, so I'm not gonna hate on it. Ya know?"

"this rating is just for the front desk lady . I called the school asked how to register my daughter. she told me to come in with certain papers. Got there she then told me i had to make an appointment with the registrar.. which would take place after the school year started . Went the first day of school and there was another lady that helped me and told me that because she went to a school that was part of the cluster, she was all ready registered. Why couldn't the first lady tell me this ?? Just had another weird interaction with her.. all i can think of is ..why is she working at a job with interactions with people? what form of nepotism is going on here ? I shudder when i open the front doors and see her .PLEASE find someone who enjoys working with people and not this person who screams bitterness and some self hate ."
