The HR BLock service provided a simple no-contact platform to provided the needed information to file taxes. The website is very streamlined, simple and easy to navigate. The only reason I choose the rating of 4.0 (really 4.5) is that I found it more expensive to file than I had expected. Even with the generous coupon (which I'm thankful for), I thought the expense was a little high. The service was great though; so I guess you get what you pay for. Thanks HR Block!"
"Had to make 2 trips to sign papers. And didn't feel like my wife and I were handled very professional . And my tax professional said she gave us a $25 discount for our trouble but the truth of the matter is my wife had a $25 off coupon she had turned in the day before. Just wasn't a very good experience for us at all."
"When I scheduled my apointment, I specifically asked for someone who was knowledgeable in out-of-state taxes. However, when I arrived, she was behind schedule so instead they switched me to someone else who they assured me would be able to do what I needed. He could not answer my questions for the out-of-state taxes, he had to keep asking for help, and I was told I would get a call back with some of my answers, which I haven't gotten. The people that were helping him were with other clients so they were just trying to answer quickly. He also did not know how to put in my tuition statement and had messed that up. I was there for 2 hours, paid $350, and I feel like I did not get the refund I should have. When I put my information into H&R block online, it showed I should have gotten $1,000 more than what I got in store. I only went in store so I didn't mess up the out-of-state stuff. I was very upset when I left and do not plan on returning, nor do I plan on reccommending anyone go there."
