Lewis Jackson, MD

"After many years of Dr. Lewis Jackson being both of my boys' pediatrician--profiting from our needs--he displayed unprofessional conduct. During my younger son's last visit (just before turning 18) he proceeded to explain why he recommends a long list of vaccines for my son. After he was done speaking to me, he faced my son and explained to him that once he turns 18 he has the choice to come in and get the recommended vaccines regardless of his parents' choice. After we left the office my son expressed that the way Dr. Jackson addressed him about the matter was uncalled for. Not only did Dr. Lewis Jackson disrespect me in front of my son, but he also put my son in a predicament that no minor should ever face, especially by the very person that is supposed to take care of him. My son is now 18 and is going to start college in the Summer and therefore is required to submit a list of the vaccines received. All Dr. Jackson is supposed to do is sign the forms attesting that the listed vaccines were administered to my son. Instead of doing his job, he refused to sign one the forms because my son is choosing not to take one of the vaccines that Dr. Jackson recommends. Without a simple statement like this, my son will not be allowed to attend school even though the school may issue a religious exemption. Dr. Jackson is technically trying to bully my family into taking a vaccine by using his status as a Medical Doctor. My next step is to file a complaint with the Georgia Composite Medical Board."

"Dr Lewis Jackson has to by far be the best pediatrician I have ever had for ky kids. His knowledge, hospitality, and humbleness it's just invaluable. I've been seeing Dr Jackson for over a year now and I have to say that words can't describe what this man has done for me and my family. If I had a chance to go back in time and pick Dr Jackson from the day my very first kid was born, I without a doubt would go back and pick him for every single one of my kids."

"Dr. Jackson has been my sons pediatrician since he was born. My son is now 5. Dr. Jackson is always extremely thorough in how he explains every single thing. My son loves going to see him as Dr. Jackson always finds some kind of super hero in his nose. If I’m nervous about anything I call them. They never make me feel any type of way. I’ve called all hours of the night. If my son is sick they see him ASAP. I highly recommend him!!!"

"After reading the previous "review", I felt I had to leave one of my own. Lewis Jackson is the furthest thing from a "racist" I've ever met. In fact, he speaks fluent Spanish, has many Latino friends and patients, makes frequent (mission) trips to South America, and (within the past week of me writing this review) treated a young Ugandan girl after-hours who was with a visiting choir at our church. To call this man "ignorant" is incorrect and rude. To call him "racist" is even worse. Lewis has been a fantastic physician to my son and to many of my friends' children. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a pediatrician. Shame on "A Google User", whoever you are."
