"They really don’t deserve any stars as far as wait time. Highly don’t recommend!! They over book all the time, everytime we have an appointment we sit in the back for a hour or more. I document my time spent in the offices everytime because it’s so mind blowing how long we’re always in there. Staff is always pleasant and full of excuses as to why they’re always over booked and under staffed. If you don’t mind waiting long long wait times with your sick babies then this is the place for you. Signed very unhappy Mama."

"Take heed. Once you ( the child's advocate, protector, and voice) are treated rudely and verbalize it. You will be discharged. A fish rots from the head. Tip: treat your patients with kindness and compassion. After all these are injured/sick children. And when your staff drops the ball, Kathy, call and apologize, try to rectify it. Until then you will continue to see less than favorable ratings from YOUR patients."

"My child does not get shots for multiple reasons. We were scheduled for a wellness visit. They did the first half of the visit and even poked my 4 year olds finger (hemoglobin check). Someone comes in asking about immunization. I politely let her know that my child is exempt. Someone else by the name of ANNA comes in and let us know that my child has to be transferred elsewhere. I let her know, “Yeahhh, they tell us that every time we come.” She then rudely says, “And you just keep on coming!” ANNA needs to go back to the drawing board and reconsider her profession. Not only is my child upset from getting an unnecessary shot, but ANNA was extremely rude in her delivery. There is a way to do everything and what she said and did was wrong, rude, and uncalled for!!!! On my way out, I asked about paperwork stating that they were refusing to see my child and she told me that, “You won’t receive anything here.” I asked for my child’s hemoglobin results since they took that (and in my opinion shouldn’t have being that they were going to refuse an exam). She stated, “It was _____. It’s good. You can have that.” Anna was flat out rude and disrespectful. No taste or regard to why my child doesn’t receive vaccinations. Avoid this office and ANNA at all costs. PS. I am aware of what comes with an unvaccinated child but disrespect and rudeness isn’t one of them."

"Just go ahead and go somewhere else. I have enjoyed coming to this practice, but in the last year they have completely gone down hill. They have gotten very rude and they act like they are too busy to deal with you. Had a baby in Sept. And they are wonderful if you are trying to get out of the hospital next day and get home quickly with your baby. Otherwise they will put your babys shots off for over 6 months because they seem to not be able to schedule properly. I called in may and they tried to tell me they couldn't update his shots til December. That would have caused him to get more behind. Also if your a first time parent sending your kid to school make sure on what you need. The practice does not seem to know what your kid needs to start kindergarten. With that being said they gave me an immunization record and said that will work. They were wrong. I had to come back and get the 3300 form but before I got there Kimberlynn or Kimberly shredded the documents even though I called and let them know I was on the way. making ME pay double for the records because THEY shredded the first ones. I live in Jackson so the drive alone through two cities is hectic. I didn't not want to throw a fit but in my opinion if you want a great doctor and don't mind a lil drive, griffin pediatrics is wonderful. They helped me clear everything up on what I needed and helped me get my baby's shots up to date without having to wait 6 months or more. I have very disappoint in McDonough pediatrics."

"Been taking all of my kids here since birth. They have almost always had same day sick appointments! The staff has changed a lot over the years but they have definitely been consistent with staff that cares. Aisha Mallory has been one in particular that has been super nice and has worked to get my kids seen every time we have had an issue this winter... we have had a lot more visits than usual but she always has a great attitude and a bug smile for us. The doctors here are also very thorough and kind!!! Love this place!"
