"Though not our primary care medical facility, we needed an appointment for my wife for an urgent care matter. The location and quick availability of the appointment were convenient. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. It was clear that it is a facility that serves the local immigration population evidenced by signage and fliers in various languages. This helped my wife (herself a foreign national) feel comfortable and well received. It's great to know that Clarkston Primary and Urgent Care is available if needed in the future."

"This review has two parts to it. My actual visit to the clinic was good. The staff was friendly and informed me early on that they did not accept my insurance (TRICARE). I agreed to pay full cost for the visit as well as for a flu test. The NP stated that she believed that I may have COVID symptoms and to get tested. While i was checking out she told me the COVID test was expensive and since my insurance wasnt covered it she recommended i go to CVS or Walgreens where it will be cheaper. I thanked her and told her i would do that. I also took a strep test as well and was willing to pay for the full cost. While paying the bill I noted that the bill only covered my actual visit and the front desk individual did not charge me for the flu test. She thanked me for catching that and I proceeded to pay for the flu test as well. The NP told me that she would take care of the cost of the strep test so I wouldn’t have to worry about it. I was grateful, thanked her and left the clinic. About a week and a half later I realized that no one had ever called me about results for the strep test. I called into the office to ask about my strep test results to hear that they had no lab results for my strep test. The individual who answered the phone stated that she remembered me and stated that because I did not want to let her photocopy my DOD ID (DOD IDs are not to be photocopied) they did not send in my strep test. I then simply asked if she had my lab results or not. She stated she did not and I said goodbye and hung up the phone. The most important part of the visit to this urgent care was for the results of my lab tests which this urgent care failed to provide. The lack of organization and communication with patients is what made me rate this experience as two stars. I will not be coming back to this Clinic."

"The whole staff was very welcoming and friendly, answered all my questions to ease my worries. NP Mimi is the best, she’s always so great with kids. Highly recommend them, & definitely coming back."
