Thomas Eye Group - Newnan Office

"Several of my friends go to Thomas Eye Group. They always have glowing remarks about everyone at the practice. I was referred by Urgent Care, and I can say that every thing my friends said about the people at Thomas Eye is true. Every one I saw was friendly, helpful, and most importantly, very knowledgeable. Each person took great care in ensuring I understood exactly what was happening to my eyes. I am very grateful to have had such a pleasant and reassuring experience under uncertain circumstances. My hope is to return for my eye care needs, and that you find out for yourself what I have said is true."

"Everyone was great working with my four year old, however they kept us there for almost 2.5 hours for an eye exam. When I expressed how difficult it was to ask a four year old to wait that long, I was told that most appointments are longer and that this doctor is the only pediatric eye doctor in west Georgia. To me, that means they should be extra accommodating and understanding of children melting down because of extra long wait times. We did end up purchasing glasses from them too because they were unable or unwilling to tell me if I could find the doctor’s recommended brands elsewhere. Our follow-up appointment will be first thing in the morning to avoid the long wait times. If you’re seeing the doctor with a child I would highly recommend waiting for their earliest appointment."

"I have been going to this group for a few years now and have had nothing but pleasant experiences. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Once I am called for my visit, at no point in time do I ever feel rushed. My voice is heard in my treatment, and everyone is generally welcoming and kind—even other patients seem to feel and take in the calm vibes."

"This place has been nothing but a nightmare since starting. I am a patient at this facility and each time they schedule an appointment, either the day before or day of appointment it gets canceled. Either the provider is out, off or had an emergency, I’m like every time she has an appointment it’s Always something!!!! Make it make sense. I come from out of town just to see them. You guys need to get it together and communicate better on all fronts. It’s not fair to the patient or their families that escort them. If I had a choice to not to come this facility I would not, nor would I refer anyone. Customer service and overall patient experience is a big deal. You guys failed miserably on both parts."
