Piedmont Urgent Care

"I am very unhappy with the service I received at this clinic. The bedside manner was horrible. The nurse was not friendly and did not introduce herself prior to checking my vitals. The nurse seemed like she had an attitude for providing care to me as her patient. Each time the nurse and provider entered the room no one knocked (of which a few times I was wearing my gown). The clinical didn’t introduce herself either. I understand that the day is long and I am sure they were tired, but this is not how you run a clinic and provide care to patients. The staff was not welcoming. It was almost as everyone was annoyed and irritated that I came in to be seen and that they had to work and do their job. I did not get a thorough exam either. I should have had a better exam and an abdomen x-ray done. I had to follow up with 3 other doctors who were appalled that I didn’t have an exam of my problem areas where I described my symptoms and were shocked that I did not have an x-ray done. I do not understand how some people practice medicine. Steps were missed that could have prevented a lot of things and having to be rushed to the ER and have a procedure. A simple thorough check could have prevented a lot of things. No good quality care. This was a horrific experience. I did not feel welcomed at all. As a health care professional myself, I would not recommend this place to any of my patients and loved ones. Deeply disappointed. I wasted my time and money coming to this location. I would have expected more coming from a Piedmont facility and wished I read the reviews prior to rushing to this location to get serviced. It would have been better to simply drive longer or pay the extra $20 for an uber ride."

"The online appointment scheduler was really helpful. The necessary forms are easily completed and submitted before arriving. The people were helpful and courteous. They helped solve my immediate need and encouraged me to schedule an appointment with my PCP for a couple other things - which is to say - they didn't just "run me through the mill." The wait was longer than I hoped."

"This office - Sandy Springs has no disregard for patents time. I still wonder why I make appointments here. Today is was 1.5 hours running behind. I have been here at other times at 9:30 am in the morning and they are still behind schedule. When I brought this to their attention, mentioning that maybe they should space out the appointments further, the nurse responded with that is not my job."

"The staff here is professional, polite and courteous. The front desk personnel was very helpful in helping me to schedule the walk-in appointment when I couldn’t enter the code correctly. The nurse who took my vitals was jovial and helpful. I felt welcomed from the time I entered the office."

"I brought my boyfriend here when he was very sick. The staff there was so kind and patient. The receptionist was very understanding and helped when we had questions about his insurance. Kimberly, our PA, was very attentive and made this whole process much easier. Everyone was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. If you need to go to an Urgent Care facility, this place has the most helpful and encouraging staff."
