"We went to this clinic back in June 2021. They never submitted the visit to our insurance apparently and then we received a bill for $400 almost 10 months later. Piedmont confirmed the visit was never transmitted to our insurance when we contacted them, but they didn't know why. On the call, they said they would transmit it that day. A week later, there is still no transmission and my insurance is now working with Piedmont to figure out why they can't transmit a simple visit claim. On top of this, we were billed as new patients despite being at this location before. It was also a level 3 coding even though it was a simple and short visit. We should have gone to our primary hcp. We'll never use Piedmont again."

"My 84 yo mom needed pneumonia vaccine. When I made the appointment, I told the agent that my mom will use her insurance. When we got to the Piedmont Quickcare at Walgreens on East West Connector, we were not immediately asked for my mom’s insurance info. We were halfway through the process when Nurse Practitioner Rhonda Tisdale told us that they do not accept my mom’s insurance. She also said that there are not many medical facilities that will accept my mom's insurance. In addition, she said that my mom can still get her pneumonia vaccine if I pay for the cost upfront and then file a claim to my mom's insurance to get my money back. Having heard what she said, I paid the cost of $225 to get my mom’s pneumonia vaccine. I learned today (3 days after we went to Piedmont Quickcare) that Walgreen’s will give my mom exactly the same pneumonia vaccine for zero copay!!! I feel deceived and taken advantage!!! Never again will I use Piedmont Quickcare!!! Update: I called Piedmont QuickCare at Austell to get information that are necessary to file a claim for my mother's vaccine. The person that I talked with to get the Diagnosis Code said that my mom's insurance most likely will not pay for the cost of her pneumonia vaccination because they are out of network. It seems that Nurse Practitioner Rhonda Tisdale gave my mom and I incorrect information to encourage us to get the procedure done to make money for her company without regard to its implication to my pocketbook!"

"I was charged $187.26 for a walk in visit. It was considered a new patient when I've been a patient at Piedmont over 20 years. I thought walk in clinics were low cost. I did not received any special tests, just a visit and script for one med. I see billboards showing walk in at $50 so this price seemed very high. A doctor visit would have probably been cheaper."

"Super Quick visits, does same thing my physician would have done. Right place if you want quick assessment and treatment from a professional without waiting for a month or two to see your physician or end up going to ER or Urgent care."
