"I wish I could give these folks 20 stars! Where do I begin? Hoping that I don't slaughter names. The sweetheart at the front office was amazing, unfortunately didn't get her name. She was even training a new hire that started that day! Then ya got Lashay with her personality, she had to give me two shots in the toosh, but she made it fun and didn't hurt. We were laughing, but she was quick had me in\out. Then there is Missy! Wow! She was upset because I waited 45 minutes when there were 10 people that checked in before me! She was a ton of fun, had me in and out when I was feeling absolutely miserable. By the time I made it home, I was already beginning to feel a lil better. All the meds I got because she knew I was extremely sick! How have I never been here before?!?! I know where to go from here on out. I absolutely appreciate Missy and the whole staff. It was extremely fast, not expensive at all, and just an all around greeeeeat experience for someone who went in there sick as a dog! Thank you Southern Immediate in Heflin for taking the best care of me. This is by far the best Urgent Care experience I've ever had, from the time I walked in there to check in to the time I left. I'm already feeling relief know that I'm in such good hands. Thank you, thank you, thank you and I'm so sorry for the book. It's just enough to be honest."

"We have been using Southern Immediate Care forever. Missy is one of the best around. The assistants in the back are amazing. Today I took my son in and was greeted by one of the nicest front desk people ever. Then she had to be the bearer of bad news. Apparently they have redone their contract with BCBS. This then caused our copay to increase (a lot by my standards). I was blindsided by this increase. A notice or something posted would have been nice. At this point I have a child throwing up and just doesn’t feel well. I pay the amount. They were super understanding when I didn’t want the extra respiratory panel. The last time they did it, it cost me over $300. The icing on the cake for me was when the Dr came in ( had never seen this lady before) and she acted scared of the fact my kid had thrown up in the bag they had given us. She did not do anything for my child other than say take some zofran and if he doesn’t feel better come back. Uhh no thank you with another increased copay. The last thing I wanted to do an a Saturday morning was waste my time with a Dr who didn’t care and just literally throw money away. So disappointed in the Dr that saw us and the new contract with BCBS. Again I will say Missy and the support staff are amazing. We are going to miss seeing them. Now to find somewhere else for our family to be cared for."

"My husband is a Veteran and Southern Immediate Care is one of those locations the VA recommends for Veterans who live too far from a VA hospital or open clinic. The staff at this location are absolutely fantastic. We have never had to wait hours. They have always been able to make a diagnosis, and supply prescriptions so that we left feeling confident that his treatment had been superior to the other Southern Immediate Care located in Anniston. I've never had an emergency myself in three years, but when I do, I will be going to the Heflin Southern Immediate Care!"

"I went to this facility to get tested for Covid 19 after some of my neighbors tested positive. I was left in the treatment room for a long time (not sure exactly how long because there was no clock or anything else in the room). I finally started to leave & then I was seen. There were 2 cars in the parking lot, including mine so I don’t feel they were terribly busy on Monday morning. I was told I would get results in 2 days. I had to call them twice to find out that my test was negative. I will see how it is when I go to pick up the print out of my results. This was a service the receptionist actually volunteered to do for me. That’s the only reason I am giving 2 stars. This was my first experience as a patient there & it will be my last!"
