"The staff are wonderful. The location is good. I was pleased with the doctor. The breakdown is in the follow up and it is a critical problem. Apparently their delivery model relies on the specific physician that you see and that doctor may not be working for many days after your visit. I suspect they use a contractor provider model ( but I don’t know that for sure). If you have any problem, say a medication reaction or need a few more days of an antibiotic ONLY THAT DOCTOR can make a change. You have to come back a see a new provider. Another staffed physician can not or will not make the adjustment. I also suspect that is a great financial model for the provider. It is certainly a terrible model for the patient. Update: I’m traveling and unable to return to see another doctor at Northeast Georgia Phys Grp. I need the antibiotics prescription extended. Stopped at another provider where I am and they don’t want to do follow up care for another provider. They don’t understand why I can’t just call the original provider. Neither do I."

"I took my five year old today to be seen for a possible ear infection, a five year old who is terrified of the doctor and wasn’t cooperating at all. Emily, the nurse could have have been more patient and kind with my daughter. Dr. Walters was kind and compassionate and the ladies out front were more than helpful. We were in and out very quickly. So thankful and impressed by this group today."

I recently went for myself to be tested for strep and I must say that Dr. Patel has got to be one of the most genuine and caring doctors that I have ever encountered. He was absolutely amazing! "My family was in from out of town and we were in need of an urgent care for our 2 year old. Not knowing anything about the area, we took him here and it was a fantastic experience. The staff, nurses and doctor were patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Amanda helped me with directions, recommended a great breakfast spot with great coffee (which was extremely needed after a long night with our two year old) and even called me with test results like she said she would. I highly recommend this urgent care!"
