"Don’t go here. I went here to Dr Pearlstein who caused me to nearly die. I have had epilepsy since birth from birth injury. I have taken all medications through my life with no complete success. My last medication was Tegretol which didn’t completely control my seizures but had no side effects by itself. I took it for 35 years. I heard there was newer medicines that might help. He had me try Lamictal. In a couple of weeks I was doing better. Soon afterward, He took me off tegretol cold turkey and continued with Lamictal. Found out later you aren’t to go off strong meds, ( especially taken for 35 years ), cold turkey. Gradually only.Also, not with a medicine that doesn’t mix and deadly together. I made appointment and explained the bad feelings I was experiencing. He left the room and sent his nurse in to tell me he would no longer be my doctor. I started having withdrawals like heroine. I had to go to ER several times and other doctors. Five different doctors said I could have died. I now have no tegretol in my body and on Lamictal only but I have been through hell and nearly lost my mind. I know of another person who had a bad experience with him also. I advise you not to use him."

"Very attentive staff. Dr. Pearstien is always attentive and in the room with me. He asks questions and makes sure I understand everything he has said to me before moving on to the next thing. The staff is friendly and overworked. They deserve grace as much as anybody else; and in these times, even more. I have never had a better experience with ANY doctor, and will recommend Dr. Pearstien and his staff any time I am given the opportunity."

"Dr. Pearlstein has been great for several years, but I spoke with his office manager today about getting a DOT exemption and she was excessively loud and rude, and refused to listen when I tried to explain what I needed. I wish I could stay, as I have nothing bad to say about the clinical staff, but their administation is atrocious, especially considering they charge a $35/year administrative fee. They also canceled my appointment last year without telling me, so I ended up taking the day off work to show up to a closed office."

"I went here to find care. There is no care to find here. If you don't understand what is going on with someone you don't write them off, you at least refer them to someone who can. I have been to a few more specialists that cannot figure out why I didn't get appropriate testing here. Unfortunately I need a neurologist on my team to help with my issue so I will be looking elsewhere because I was beyond disappointed here. I don't understand the extra 35.00 fee either as poorly as this place is run. I guess they are only out for the mighty dollar instead of the oath that was taken to do no harm.."

"Outstanding! The whole staff and Dr. Pearlstein really go out of their way to help their patients. If you can believe it, they even gave me a ride to the ER and called ahead so I didn't have to explain myself over and over again. Never mind the money I saved by avoiding the 2 minute ambulance ride! We are very lucky to have Dr. Pearlstein in Jasper and I'm even luckier to have found them! A million thanks!!!"
