Spices Caribbean Restaurant

"have only ordered from this place via Bite Squad (which by the way is already a great PLUS for me). This is a fantastic place to order Ox Tail as there aren't that many places in town that will even attempt this dish. We haven't actually ventured into the restaurant since the delivery via Bite Squad is very quick (within 45 mins at peak hours) and the prices are reasonable enough that you can afford the delivery fee + tip as well. Our home favorites are obviously the Ox tail, but I also recommend the GOAT. Goat is very finicky in that, if not cooked right, it can taste very gamey and tough - at this place, however, it's so tender and cured, that I literally mistook it for the jerk chicken - which by the way, the jerk chicken is very easily the best jerk chicken I've had anywhere - INCLUDING Jamaica!! Ya - really really. The only reason I didn't give this place a 5 star is simply because we haven't had the privilege/need to venture into the store since Bite Squad delivers efficiently. We haven't yet experienced the entire dine in experience."

"This is a great spot to grab some Caribbean food!! The jerk chicken was cooked to perfection, and the pricing was on point. It took me too long to try this spot out. I will definitely be going back again to try more from their amazing menu. The only downside is that the parking is a little tricky if you're not familiar with the area, but don't let that stop you if you're trying to get something good to eat."

"Curry chicken was perfect today. It was delicious, fresh and priced just right. Service was fast and friendly. Food trucks charging double the price can't compete. Best $$ spent on lunch in a very long time. Tried to finish meal but couldn't eat another bite. I hope they stay consistent."

"I was hungry passing through Jax wanted something savory good side glimpse of a big sign Spices. Drove past but had a round-a-bout ahead so kept around the circle came back to to Spices. Saw people inside waiting but went on up to the Order spot nice young Man took His time and went through the menu with Me as I was ordering and viewing the menu also with his descriptive suggestions. I got Curry Chicken with Rice n Cabbage, 6 Plantains, corn bread, Roti and Jerk Chicken empanada. The corn bread looked a weird color but I think it had sweet potato in it for that orange color and sweet taste. The chicken curry was savory juicy unctuousness crazy good. Plantains were nice n sweet. Jerk empanada was disappointing even though the crust was flaky nice there wasn't much filling to be able to taste. Pricing was really well set, I thought I had spent $50 for everything I had ordered but the bill was just over $21.00. Overall experience will have Me coming back as I travel through Jax (Arlington) area again. Thnx"

"I ordered the curry shrimp with a side of cornbread and mac n cheese. The food came out hot and it was on point. The price was really good for the portion sizes. My only complaint is that the containers for take out were weak. I'm not sure if that specific container had been damaged by heat or bugs but it had a tiny hole in it and some melted part next to it. I don't want Styrofoam in my food! Anyways keep up the great work"
