"Give this place some support! The location can't seem to hold onto restaurants, but they need to hold onto this one. Really good food, excellent portions, friendly bilingual service, football on the TV. It's open Saturday and Sunday."

"I was so surprised to see a Puertoechon Rican flag flying at this location that my wife and I popped in to see what was going on! There was a DJ pumping out salsa and merengue along with some traditional Christmas songs. Inside, we found some scrumptious, juicy Lechon, Arroz con Gandules, Guineos al Escaveche, Platanos Maduros, and Yuca al Mojo, to name a few and were offered Aguacate slices while having lunch! Had a Cerveza Medalla with lunch but didn't notice there was Flan until we were leaving! This a must stop if you're in the Jacksonville, FL area just south of I-10 on 301, at Normandy Rd. Just look for the flashing lights marking the ramp to Normandy Rd. and just north of it, you'll see the sign for Hacienda Los Foros! Whether you're a Puerto Rican in need of the great taste of home or just looking for great tasting food, this is a jewel hidden on 301 in North Florida! The owners were happy to share a few moments as the crowd kept coming in. Good luck, you guys! I will be planning my weekend Florida trips with stops here every time!"

"I don’t see how people can like the food at this place. The pulled pork was white and greasy and under cooked. It looked gross. I don’t know what you can call the rice they had. It didn’t taste like rice it was dry and tasted bad. My 5 yr old daughter can make better food. I ordered mofongo with carne frita ( fried meat) the meat had no flavor and the mofongo had no taste its supposed to taste garlicky not even that and it was like mashed potatoes"

"My mother and I are currently looking for a caterer for my wedding next year. So we decided to try this restaurant and it was not a good experience at all. My mother had pernil and yuca, I had arroz con gandulez, yuca and pernil and two maltas. The total was $48! The food is definitely overpriced. The gentlemen who helped us was very nice but other that there was a lot of workers walking in and out of the kitchen and everyone talking amongst themselves. Nobody bothered to check on us. There was no ac and we were basically sweating while trying to eat. The portions was medium sized. There was too much food in the chafing servers so we knew the food was not going to hot. The yuca had a good taste, the pernil was very dry and no flavor and was not hot. The arroz con gandulez was almost cold and hard and not much flavor. the cuerito tasted old. I couldn’t eat anymore because of the fly constantly going around and so I saved some for my fiancé to make sure it’s not just me. He said the same thing about the hard rice, the yuca was good and the pernil was bad and dry. He was more shocked about the pricing. My mother is retired from the food industry and I currently work with food and customer service. This place does have potential under the right management and I wish them well and all the best."

"My husband is from the island and said this is just like being home. The blood sausage was spectacular he said as well. We are there today and the food is made by a wonderful husband and wife team. They roast a whole pig on the weekends! They have indoor and outdoor seating."
