"I went in today for a checkup that required X-rays. Every part of the process was stated to me from beginning to end. Much of the general paperwork was done on my phone. Very simple process! The front office staff was very friendly as well as the back office staff. I will definitely return if I ever have to again!"
"Piedmont Urgent Care on Austell Road is my preferred provider for those minor medical issues. Today I had set an 8AM appointment. The intake staff was polite & efficient. The nurse who took my vitals was friendly and understanding. The doctor who examined me was kind and professional. He gave me the diagnosis, prescription and care plan...and asked if I had any questions or concerns. If you have need for 'urgent care'; I highly recommend this facility!"
"My wait for a 1pm appointment was 3 hours long. I got got there early 12:50 because that's what they request when you make an appointment online. 2 hours was waiting to be seen and another hour once I got to the back. One of the women at the front desk had an attitude. It wasnt personal as I saw her even snapping an elderly woman. The woman that did my vitals was the only nice person during my visit. Nobody made me aware that there was only 1 doctor on 2/6 until I requested my money back and was about to leave because of the wait...that would have been good info to know at check-in so the patient is able to make the decision if they want to wait, go somewhere else or go home knowing it may be a very long wait. They get the job done sure but they aren't friendly and appointments mean nothing. This location may also want to consider putting someone else at the front desk. When you aren't feeling well the last thing you want to deal with is attitude from someone who doesn't enjoy their job."
"Dr. Mike was fantastic but the medical assistant did a very poor job of wrapping my wounds. She did not cover it entirely resulting in the covering falling off both the foot and the knee. The tape coverings were cut too short and the tape was not secured to my knee and foot. This negligence concerned me because of the possibility of increases infection. I suggest that she be retrained in the technique of wound wrapping."
