"I’m a bit confused by the previous reviews stating how great this food is. Maybe I came on a bad day. My chicken was dry and did not taste good My yams were undercooked and did not have much flavor. The mac & cheese had shredded cheese that never melted and had a flavor of lemon I’ve never had sour mac & cheese before."

"I ordered this past Saturday, and my boyfriend used to live within a 10minute drive by the restaurant. We now live 50 minutes away. We haven’t been in over a year and my boyfriend was craving some atl fusion for his birthday…. We have never been so disappointed. The rib tips was okay and that was the redeeming quality as well as the staff. But other than that the rest of the meal was inedible. The salmon tasted under cooked and still has a little translucency in the middle. Both orders of yams and Mac was straight in the trash. Veryyyyyyy dry and tasteless. I’m not sure if they were having a bad day because it wasn’t busy when we arrived. But it was definitely the worst soul food plate I have been served."

"Hello, We usually love coming to your restaurant to eat. Today was very dissapointing. We ordered half a chicken with mac n cheese and candied yams, salmon with mac n cheese and candied yams, and a brisket. The mac n cheese was dried out, not enough cheese or flavor. The candied yams tasted horrible, dried out, not sweet. The chicken wasnt as good as itnl usually is. The brisket amd salmon were not cooked as much as they usually are. Not sure if it was just an off day today. You guys are usually our go to for bbq but my mother in law is easily swayed when the food isnt as good as it usually is. Hope we can get a replacement meal another day and hopefully it be as good as your food normally is. I sent this email 9/14 & received no response so I am now posting it here. Thank you Desiree"

"Was hoping to try the chicken but unfortunately it wasn’t ready around the time I arrived. I ended up getting the salmon instead and it did not disappoint. Honestly, they whole meal was flavorful and completed each other very well. I plan to return to try the chicken in the near future. As someone who doesn’t eat pork, I appreciated that the string beans were not cooked with them. There’s a few bar stool seats inside the restaurant and then some outdoor seating. Apparently there’s also a drive through option. The house sauce was really good."

"The food was absolutely delicious. Just one Rib & chicken combo with two smoked Mac and cheese as our side choice fed my son and I. With leftovers... a very good portion of food. Their signs on the building was a little confusing. But, the customer service was great. Very friendly, patient, and helpful. We ordered our food to go inside and enjoyed our meal outside at the cute outdoor eating area they have by the parking. I gave them a 3 star rating for the atmosphere because the inside dining was not clean."
