"Gail Rock is the most incredible compassionate caring midwife I have ever met. She was fully involved and there for all three of my pregnancies. She was in my hospital room for both of my children’s births. She did not leave the room while I delivered either of my children. She stood by my side while I miscarried my second child as well. She is so caring, down to earth and treats you as if you were a family member or a very good friend. She’ll never make you feel uncomfortable, or as “just another patient.” She will make you feel special, wanted, and respected. She will help you no matter what the circumstances. Words cannot describe how amazing she really is. I truly feel she is the best midwife in our area. I along with so many more women believe this. She has literally been there my whole life. She was my mother’s midwife’s L&D nurse when my brother and I were born. She has been in the practice since 1987. She was a L&D nurse for 14 years before she became a midwife. My first son was born in 2016, he was the 2053rd baby that she had helped deliver into the world. My second son was born in 2018 he was her 2373rd baby to help deliver into the world. In just a two year period she delivered 320 babies into this world. In that time she stood by so many other women who wanted to conceive but couldn’t, those who had conceived and miscarried, and those who have sadly had a stillbirth. She not once turned down someone that wanted to have her as there provider. With her education as a L&D nurse and midwifery degree she is also a certified lactation specialist. Just as she would be there throughout your whole pregnancy she is there for you to help you learn how to breastfeed or to help you with the struggles breastfeeding can bring. She helped me in the beginning of my breastfeeding journey with my first son do to his jaundice making him sleepy and a lazy eater. She helped me overcome the struggles and exclusively breastfeed for the first 12 months of my sons life. She truly is skilled in her practice so much, words can not describe. The knowledge she holds in the practice of L&D is unbelievable, indescribable, it’s absolutely amazing!"

"Gail delivered my little girl in October, I traveled from Elkins to Mon Health because I heard such good things about her !! I absolutely loved her, she’s so soft spoken and laid back. The night I went into labor she stayed and checked on me and was also in the room a lot! She also gives you her person phone so I messaged her with any questions I had, her rule was “ don’t goodle it, call me”. I recommend her to everybody!"
