Western Motel - Camilla

"I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE!!! I stayed two nights initially and decided to get one more night because it's affordable. I asked the prior day for new bedding because it felt as if something was biting me. She stated I could get the bedding the following day. When I went to get the bedding, I let her know something is biting me as if they were bedbugs. She immediately gets irrate along with her husband who stuck his middle finger up at me. They were both saying we don't have bedbugs and that I had to leave. They even had the audacity to call law enforcement which I was happy about. The officers that showed on scene says they get calls about the staff (family owned) all the time. They informed me the owners complain about the smallest of things but don't want to listen to the officers when they come. The fact that I was put out of a bottom of the barrel hotel was beyond my understanding because I said what I felt on MY skin. They refunded my money but I want that place to not ever get any more business. Stay here at your last absolute LAST choice."

"The place is infested with bed bugs first and foremost. So I asked for new sheets the owner made a big deal and told me I had to go and that they don't have bed bugs. I was in such shock that I had to confirm that's really what she said and indeed it was so. So then the lady has the nerve to call the cops because I'm POLITELY asking why I have to leave. This was the most horrific experience I have ever had with ANY business."

"Front desk lady was very nice, althogh I had to give them 6 bucks to change to a non smoking room. Bed very comfortable, rooms spacious and clean. Carpet could be changed. Room also had a full size ironing board with an iron.. a blow dryer, and what we really needed was a small fridge and microwave.. I would recommend.."

"I called to book a room for my family bc the rest of my family was staying there as we got called in for our grandmother who is on life support with days left. As I told her I had 2 adults and 2 children and a 10 MONTH old baby. She said sorry we no do babies and hung up on me. I called back and she refused to answer the phone. This is the worse anyone can say. You won’t take my business bc I have a baby? I would not recommend anyone with children to stay here. They obviously don’t care about children."

"Small clean little place. Not really updated. Has great Internet. Had no problem streaming movies while I was staying. No breakfast or coffee. But under 50 a night to stay."
