Tru by Hilton Ringgold

"We were greeted by a smiling desk clerk and check-in was very quick and easy. The overall atmosphere was welcoming. The room was fresh and clean, beds comfortable. The hot breakfast was very good and plenty of items to choose from including hit scrambled eggs & sausage, tasty fresh made pancakes, cereals, milk, juices, hot coffee and more. I would highly recommend Tru by Hilton to all of my friends and family. Also very affordable."

"It was definitely not worth the price I paid. The room was cleanish...bathroom needed some extra attention, especially at the bottom of the shower. I, personally, did not care for the soap supplied by the hotel. I prefer not smelling like lemon scented dishwashing liquid. The bed was comfy and the roll down shades were a nice touch. The worst part for me was the heater. It was obnoxiously LOUD. There was a wall control for the heater that did not work. I cannot say the staff (with the exception of the housekeeper) were not the friendliest. They were helpful, but didn't seem like they were very happy. Would I stay there again? Absolutely not."

"I was disappointed with my stay. The check-in process and location were fine. The cleanliness of the room was disturbing. There was trash still in my garbage can. The desk in the room was greasy and dirty. I had to clean it off. The floor was filthy. Full of dirt, hair, and an accumulation of dust and dander. It's obvious that the floors are not cleaned on a regular basis. I had to keep my socks and shoes on. Whoever was responsible for cleaning up my room needs to be re trained. I would not be inclined to stay at that location in Ringgold GA again."

"First night there wasn’t much to complain about. Rooms could be a little roomier, more storage would be nice, but overall very clean and decent. But first morning I wake up and go down to get breakfast with my daughter and I wave my hand in front of the pancake machine to try making her a pancake. I sit there for about 10-20 seconds to wait and see if the machine starts making any noise indicating it’s beginning to make a pancake (because it had worked fine just before). Nothing. So I try a couple more times and nothing. I walk away, and apparently the pancakes decided to come out about 5 minutes too late. And the old coot working decides it’d be acceptable to scold me about how I jammed up the machine and should have only waved my hand once. Maybe they should get a working machine before deciding to scold customers for jamming up the device. Not the lack of hospitality I’d expect from a Hilton at all. Very disappointed. I’m a grown man and paying customer, I don’t expect to be scolded by the old lady being paid to make my trip enjoyable."

"Great hotel right off the interstate. Modern design with laminated floors in the rooms. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. No more curtains, our room had roll down blackout shades with a desk and small refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a real shower in it. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay."
