"Always a great place to look for treasures and the staff are friendly and helpful. PTL 8/11/22 I donated a lot of nice things and then visited the store to shop. I found some really good treasures at good prices. 6/5/23 Today the Macon Rd. Valley Rescue Mission had a lot of really nice lovingly used furniture at a fraction of what the furniture stores sell their's for. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and remember, treasures are found here:)"
"DISGUSTING!!! Animals do NOT belong in a retail store!!!! Calling him a mascot & letting him touch the clothes, etc. Some people are actually allergic to dogs --- again, DISGUSTING!!! And I've raised dogs AND cats! Some people just have no couth! Or respect for others!"
"Friendly staff. Smaller selection than the other stores. Did not see any furniture although there was some bric brac and costume jewelry. Clean restrooms."
"The staff here was incredibly rude today. I came into look for furniture. I stayed all but 30 secs when I heard the evening staff talking about who is better at getting customers to leave. I have donated so many high end items to Valley Rescue Mission over the years and to be treated like that was completely uncalled for. At this point, I will donate and shop elsewhere."
"I love thrift shopping. I believe in giving back into our community, reuse, recycle and repurpose. I donate but I love to shop there as well. You never know what you might find. Like my memaw use to say one man's junk is another man's treasure! Go shopping girls!!"
